We walked to this porchetta sandwich shop, bought two sandwiches & a bottle of wine and went back to sit on the rooftop of our hotel. It was a long walk but worth it.

we were walking on the corso, and passed by this hole in the wall salumeria/deli there was a line down the block and i knew right away that all these people waiting in line couldn't all be wrong......took probably 1/2 hour, but very well worth...it two guys working fererishly, building panini like there is no tomrorrow you specify the size of the foccacio they will make your sandwich with, and load it up with the most wonderful porchetta.....you can get any other type of salumi and cheeses to, but the porchetta is to die for goes by weight, so prices vary, but reasonable, for the corso if you are near the Spanish Steps, this is about 10 minutes walking towards Plaza del Popolo......go for it!.....this panino is spectacular....and it would be wrong to miss itMore

Two friendly men selling amazing(!) sandwiches. Hungry after an early morning flight arrived in Rome - refusing to eat the plane food on the shirt two hour flight - and was hoping to find some good food five minutes by foot from the apartment where...we are currently staying. Came across this shop because of the line of locals just before noon. A hole in the wall. Joined the queue and was not disappointed. Light, fluffy and lightly salted and warm focaccia bread stuffed with porchetta and you can add more ingredients if your liking. My husband added some creamy mozzarella to his sandwich. Also got two ice cold drinks from the fridge, walked back to our apartment and enjoyed the best sandwiches with the shutters open, watching the locals passing by in our quiet street. Huge sandwiches and they are so tasty. We will go again today :-) Please note this sandwich shop does not have any seating area.More

I had eaten little meat for the past 30 years and none in the past 6.5 years until - after a terrible vegan nine course New Year's dinner - I was convinced to give the porchetta sandwich a go. It was so good we returned.

Right off Via del Corso Is an absolutely wonderful sandwich shop offering typical cold cuts and condiments. Get there early for a porcetta with pesto panini!! Absolutely delicious! Get there early because they sell out! Went back for another luncheon was not disappointed!

This gem is a must. If you find yourself in the area or exploring the Borghese gardens this place is the perfect pit stop! We got a panini with roast pork, mozzarella and sun dried tomatoes; all fresh and packed with flavour! The guys working...there were so nice it was a pleasure to order and chat about where we are from etc. They even gave us discount! The best sandwich I have ever eaten, this place will be missed until we return to Rome. Stop reading this review and go!More

Had them make us a panino of truffled mortadella, prosciutto cotto, (100g each) and pecora cheese on ciabatta for our long flight home. Halfway through the flight, we split the sandwich and aromas of truffle wafted throughout the cabin, causing great envy (and with the...in-flight food service) among our fellow passengers. This is a down-home Roman deli with no place to sit down, but if you need really good and fresh picnic fixings for the Spanish Steps, Piazza del Popolo, or your train/flight, this is it.More

We had the most amazing sandwiches from here after happening upon it by chance. The porchetta was the best I’ve ever tasted and the prices were so reasonable. What a gem of a find.

These are by far the best sandwiches I've ever had. It's already my 4th visit to Rome and I never miss an oportunity to eat there and also take something back home for myself and my family. You should absolutely try the porcheta and mortadela.

A perfect place to have a sandwich to go. The place is small and cozy with tons of different fresh meat and vegetables to choose from. The owner was very kind and skillful as he helped us customize our very own Italian paninis. Highly priceworthy!

Not sure since we paid cash. I would doubt it since the place is really small but who knows? Go (definitely go) but keep some cash on hand in case of surprises! (GO!)
