We asked our driver if he could recommend a place to eat an excellent pizza in Rome, and he brought us to Gusto. Sorry to report, the pizza was not even near excellent. We had four pizzas and a salad. The pizzas were not exceptional. And the service was mediocre. The servers really did not seem happy to see us... More

Very nice, casual Italian restaurant in the heart of the shopping centre of Rome. Mainly for lunch. Staff not so helpful, you get the feeling that they are bored to serve you. Food very good, a big selection of Italian dishes.

I went to this place as i saw some recommendations. The pizza was very good but the rest of the food, pasta, wok dish, and salmon stake was very taste less. when the bill came to our surprise we found a 15 EURO service charge, 6 Euro for the bread they put on the table and we didn't even ask... Service a little aloof, but nevertheless a lovely lunchtime venue in terms of a treat for both the eyes and stomach. Great pizza, service ok.

Our all day private tour guide brought the group to this restaurant for lunch. She also ate with us. This might be why our service was quick. Not being too hungry, I ordered one ham pizza to share. It was large and not personal pan size! My typical pizza was thin crusted with soft cheese and ham. Italian pizza is... More

We went on a Sat early evening while it was still light... Sat outside... Ambience great! Had never been to a place that served aperitivos before but had heard from friends that there were places in Rome where you could pay for a drink and then help yourself to food and only pay for the drink... Didn't quite understand or... More

The place has two sections - one which is more like a restaurant and another which is more like a bar, where they also serve aperitivo. I can't comment on the restaurant, but the aperitivo was very good - nice cocktails and many different dishes to try. The ambiance was nice, with good choice of music. The place seems to attract... We loved this place. The pizza is the perfect mix of soft, crispy and chewy. Plenty of good value wines to choose from and other things to eat besides pizza. The service slowed down a bit when the place was full but what's the rush? The patio is right next to the Ara Pacis and the Augustus Mausoleum so relax... More

This is the second time I have eaten at Gusto. The first time, I had their Neapolitan pizza. It was exceptional. This time, my friends and I participated in the buffet, which was copious. Good, quality food, great friendly, efficient service, and reasonable prices. We will return.

Thank pazzarella

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina.
