They lost the initial kindness, don't know what happened but they doesn't spread happiness of making Gelato like in the last. Pity.More

wooow buddies, if you are looking for a not-commercial, unusual and original homemade ice cream you must definitely try this. quality ingredients, interestingly and creatively mixed up together into an amazing ice cream product. few choices but really artistic. the shop is clean and original,...the owner is friendly and professional; prices in the average for this kind of quality.More

Avoid the fluffy, inflated gelato piled high! In this small and funny shop, with posters of old fashioned scooters and the latest models of roaring motorbikes, the gelato is FRESH, homemade, delicious and stored in the way it should be! The gelato is in covered...metallic containers closed with lids, so no freezer burn, no dust, no dirt, no polluted air and the right temperature. Lids are always a good sign, as it shows the gelato is being carefully kept at the right temperatures. A good ice cream shop doesn't need to draw in customers with bright colours and fancy decorations. You can see the people making the gelato in the store, in front of you, in the attached lab, and keeping it in the tins. We had the new 'fuoriserie' flavour "SU DI GIRI" (vanilla cream with orange peel, coffee and pistachio) and the "old fashioned" almond and chocolate flavours. The taste was so obviously handcrafted and flavorful. The flavors are amazing. It's high quality gelato and the person who served us was really friendly and helpful. Look for the covered gelato! That's a sign of the good stuff! Moderate price, excellent service. Recommended.More

Definitely worth a visit! Their gelato is always top quality with amazing sorbets in the summer offer. They make everything on the spot and both the texture and flavors are mastered to perfection. The outcome is exquisite! My favorite in Rome!

Very good authentic Gelato! Lots of good and excellent flavor combinations for a nice price. Friendly and helpful staff if you dont understand the Italian menu. This is a must visit if you are in the vicinity!

When I visit Italy, I want authentic gelato, like I had when I was a kid over 40 years ago. While there is a lot of tasty ice cream in Rome, I seek the authentic Gelato. The flavour as well as texture have to be...a certain way. While there seems to be a lot of debate over the best gelato place in Rome, I just want very good REAL ITALIAN ICE CREAM, which I found in this shop. Flavours tried were very good, and the ice cream is excellent, meeting my expectations. Service was friendly and professional. Highly recommend!More

Flavors are really unique and special, and ingredients are chosen among the best products that Italy can offer. A must!

Staff was very helpful with the menu which was in italian, three sizes and prices were ? 2, 2.5, 3.0. Best gelato ever. If you are in the area, go there and try for yourself.

Located in an old mechanic's workshop for Vespa (hence the italian name Officina) this ice-cream shop is the best among the many I visited in Rome. It isn't in the historic centre and you would need to go there expressely, but it would be worth,...trust me! Owned by a joung guy from Bologna, grown in a family with a tradition in ice-cream making, he cares personally the production with natural and high quality ingredients, not the industrial substitutes you find everywhere. He created new flavours and mixes which seduced my taste, but offers also more traditional flavours. Thanks!More
