5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed yesterday NEW

I went here with my family, including a 10 year old child, and it was excellent. Two of us had proscuitto and cheese (he was out of mozzarella, so we had a substitute that was excellent), and one had the porchetta itself (which is the signature "angry pig"). The porchetta is carved fresh from the pig, which is laying on... More

If you are looking for a cheap, quick, great lunch or meal near the Vatican steps. Look no further! Easy to navigate menu (with English), very fair price and beer to boot. Really welcoming staff who also speak excellent English. I would absolutely come back.

The service was amazing! It is a small place but the manager was so friendly and made us feel at home! He even said my house is your house! I had number 5 and got number 6 to go!

I read reviews for places near the Vatican and just had to go try it! Amazing amazing amazing, such a genuine place run by 2 talented chefs who knew how to make the most amazing hot sandwiches I've ever tasted!

The Porchetta Sandwich was succulent and was full of flavour! Hands down the best porchetta I've had in Rome! The owner is super friendly too! I will definitely come back next time I visit!

Very close to the Vatican, yet away from the crowds and tourists traps. Good variety of well made, delicious sandwiches. I enjoyed spicy salami with a thick slice of Romano cheese, my wife had the porchetta with eggplant. Very nice little place.

Just had the best pork sandwich in Rome at The Angry Pig, Via Tunisi, near the Vatican. Pass all the places where they want to drag you in. These people don't need to.

Small, quirky and slightly eccentric sandwich bar close to the entrance to the Vatican museum. Great porchetta sandwich and wide choice of craft beers. Walls lined with message from visitors from around the world.
