I have tried the best gnocchi with seafood in the magical neighborhood of Trastevere. Well cooked pasta al dente and really taste and the dessert tiramisu. The best attention with a good price. I haven’t tried a better pasta than that before. We booked in...advance because it is always full even in pandemic times. I will never be tired of visiting Rome and trying her amazing food.More

Wonderful food, friendly service and a great location make returning to Cajo e Gajo an easy choice. My husband and I enjoyed the Kings Tasting Plate and a bowl of penne carbonara. Couldn’t stop eating. Can’t wait to go back.

Among all restaurants we ate in during our stay in Rome this one we enjoyed the most. It's located in a very charming district of Rome called Trastevere., which I recommend to visit and enjoy walking down narrow streets between stunning red-ish buildings. Our experience...in Cajo&Gajo was so delightful that we decided to visit it twice during our stay. I would definitely recommend to try theirs tiramisu. We tried it in every restaurant in Rome we ate in, and Cajo&Gajo servert the best one. Special thanks to Michelle and Alex, you guys made our visit a truly unforgettable experience.More

Food was nice, we had the foccacia and a pizza/pasta. Our waiter was more busy doing literally anything else than listening to us. This resulted in a wrong order which he blamed me for being the customer (he claimed I ordered the dish he gave...we which was not the case).More

It was our last night in Rome and we were looking to eat on the Square in Trastavere. Unfortunately we couldnt find a seat and the party just jumped into an empty table here. I was a bit grumpy as it wasn't what I wanted,...however as Marylou arrived and served us I started to cheer up. Have to say it ended up a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Marylou was great fun and kept us well served and entertained. The pasta was first rate, and was all tremendous value. Of our 5 nights dining in Rome this was joint top with one other. Have to say Marylou helped make the evening and is a real asset.More

Very nice place, we had drinks only and we got free snacks on side. This place is a good value for money. Danilo has provided an excellent service. We will be back.
