We first tasted the delicious gelato here back in 2016. Back in Rome, we had to return. Same friendly faces, same delicious gelato. Over two visits, I tasted 8 flavours, each one excellent, topped off with a generous dollop of chocolate sauce, or chantilly cream...More

We visited this Gelateria almost every night during our stay in the Testaccio neighborhood. It is family run and you can peek into the kitchen where they make the gelato. The same folks were working the counter every night we went. They were gracious and...More

The ice cream lady is adorable, and really great at suggesting flavor combinations. The ice cream is the best traditional ice cream you will find in Rome. If you're into "gourmet stuff" you won't find it here, but you will find the best fruit you...More

Nice gelato shop, but frankly I didn't think it better than many others in Rome. Happy to find it open when most others were closed one night, but I think the rave reviews are a little over the top.

Put the house music on replay and you have Testaccio,
an ancient Roman port and former working class

every night of the week. Its collection of discoteche
(nightclubs), street parties, and crowded restaurants
give it its well-deserved party reputation. During the
daytime, Testaccio is more easy listening than club
