We were in Rome for 4 days and we ate here twice. It was recommended by our airbnb host. We were warned about the service which didn't bother us. The pasta was so good . I can still remember the sauce. The salad was very...More

Called in here for a late lunch and found it absolutely charming and with excellent simple home made country style food and the coldest and best beer that I found in Rome and very reasonably priced and drinkable house wine. Style is long communal tables...More

I ate here approximately 15 times in 2004 and 2007. From the reviews it sounds like nothing has changed a bit. Thank Goodness for small favors. Yes the service is rude. Yes the Italian lady yells at you "Pizza, Pasta, Salad". Yes if you ask...More

It is true that waiters and hosts in Rome are not the most friendly people in the world, but this rude and yelling lady got the honor of being the rudest amongst them. We sat down and immediately she screamed: Pasta-Pizza-Salad!!!! I said, ey, wait,...More

Frocked priests, colorful Swiss Guards, insistent
souvenir shop owners, flag-waving tour guides, and
pilgrims from around the world. This is the Vatican
and Borgo, Rome's most recognized neighborhood which
acts as Vatican City's front yard. Aside from the
souvenir boutiques and a few food spots, the only
business conducted here is papal. In the daytime, the
tiny medieval sector bustles with holy activity, as
