If you would like to try something typical as “street Italian good food”, that’s where you should go. I went there today and I had the famous Supplí which are typical of this city. They were very good and tasty. If you want to try...More

We decided to get some street food tonight for dinner and we weren’t disappointed! The Suppli we had was delicious as was the pizza, we will be back :)

This is a tiny shop in Trastavere, but is worth the trip across the river. Bite sized rice ball sized food. Delicious! Look chaotic inside, but you must brave the crowds for this little tasty gem.

We first visited this “fast food” restaurant on a food tour. They serve a number of items you can eat on the run or take home for a quick meal. We loved their namesake supplì. Basically an egg-shaped, deep fried, breaded rice and cheese ball....More

I love this place, visited here many times. It's a deli shop where they sell pizza, pasta, suppli and other stuff (chicken, potato, etc.). It's a perfect place to visit if you feel too lazy to cook by yourself. They usually sell pizza with 4...More

We'd never had suppli, and this was the perfect place to try it for the first time. It was perfectly cooked -- flavorful, fresh, and lots of locals were here buying it to take home so I knew it was authentic. We also tried their...More

Supplí has the best supplí in Rome, there’s no question. I expected it, and yet my expectations were surpassed by the delicious flavors and crunch offered by the fried food. The pizza, however, I was not prepared for. It honestly sits in my top 2...More

Searching out the famous supplis in Rome came across this place after walking 5 kms under a hot sun, picked a few with a slice of pizza and a beer was worth every step!

We’d heard so much about this particular tiny shop. It was packed and the service was super quick with a smile. Certainly worth the short wait. I had the one with no meat and my husband had with meat. A perfect lunch on the run....More

This local hole in the wall is the perfect place to try a suppli. Enjoyed it but you only need to taste one or two, essentially a marinara arancini ball. Place was full of locals which is always a good sign.

Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded
postcard, a little worn around the edges but still
charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering
streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and
overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible
mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of
entertainment - a rotating set of street performers
entertains almost every night, and unforgettable
