This was my only visit to a Chinese restaurant in Italy, so I can't say how it compares to the standards here. But by my standards as an American (living in a city without a China town), it falls a bit short. The plates were very small, which was nice because we could order several different types of dishes. The... More

To be honest very trying a new Chinese restaurant. It was the trip advisor stickers on the outside that led me into this establishment. With the great reviews I thought I'd give it a try. I was very pleased to see that my chicken with mushrooms and bamboo shoots was only €4. Spring rolls only €2. The total for an... More

We enjoyed a memorable New Year's Eve meal on our last night of our Roman holiday. Bin Hai was a pleasant surprise: not just an extensive Chinese menu, but also an extensive and delicious Thai menu. The restaurant appears to be a local favorite, with many Italians wishing the owner and his family a Happy New Years with traditional two-cheek... More

We wanted to trying some food not Italian. So we did the research before setting our sights on this place. A few metro stops and a walk from us but worth it all the way. Great price value €23 for two which included starters each, soup, five, noodles, two mains and our drinks. Clearly a favorite with the locals. Lovely... More

Went here for a quick dinner the night before we were leaving Rome. Located just outside the city centre. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Food arrived quickly and couldn't have been better! Excellent value at €13.30 for 4 main dishes and 2 drinks.

We found this restaurant on tripadvisor as we were looking for somewhere affordable with nice food - Bin Hai delivered. 5* for food, service and price. The staff are very friendly and the restaurant has a nice cosy feel. The food is lovely! and definitely value for money. We visited as a couple and we had a starter each, a... More

If your perception of a Chinese treat involves red-painted furniture and the incessant waves of plastic Chinese kittens, this restaurant probably isn't for you. However, steering past the westernised and stereotypic idiosyncrasies identified with this style of cuisine, Bin Hai delivers honest and traditional food with a warming smile. If you are adventurous and persevere in finding this gem, you... More

Fast and friendly service, great selection of Chinese, Asian and Italian dishes at a very affordable price (less than 40€ for 4 people including tip and drinks). Don't be misled by the exterior appearance, clean and friendly inside. Seems to be frequented by locals.

We are overseas Chinese and thought we'd have a meal of comfort food. Food was oily. Service was bad as the 2 waiters couldn't quite be bothered.
