Weak Aperol spritz, a small beer and the usual 'bar snacks' were not forthcoming (despite being displayed in the counter). Not worth it when there's so many to choose from. A shame because it seemed like a nice little place :(

I'm dumbfounded by the quality of these dishes at these prices. All of our dishes were substantially oak and outstanding for 7€ or 8€!!!! The oxtail and carcerata were outstanding! (As was everything else). Big servings and extraordinary flavors for such a low price the...More

What an absolute pearl of a local eatery, where travelers and locals alike can enjoy beautifully prepared meals. I had the mussels soup and bruschetta with ham, figs and anchovies as starters. Then the lamb chops as secondo. All where excellent and very freshly prepared....More

My boyfriend and I visited on a quiet Sunday night and were blown away by the authenticity, delicious food and attentive, friendly service. Prices were reasonable. Such a hidden gem and definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

We discovered this restaurant by chance. Turned out to be another excellent local cuisine. Friendly staff. Good food reasonably priced. Hard to go wrong.

Lovely family run restaurant, well worth seeking out when in Trastevere. Its slightly off the main run of shops and restaurants and stands out as being authentic and un-gimmicky with friendly knowledgeable staff who take a real pride in the food and wine they serve.

An excellent local family restaurant.. A very extensive and wide priced range of wine, plus home made pasta, not that common in italy for reasonable priced restaurants. We had the meat and cheese antipasto, and was excellent selection of unique salami and cheeses. The home...More

Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded
postcard, a little worn around the edges but still
charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering
streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and
overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible
mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of
entertainment - a rotating set of street performers
entertains almost every night, and unforgettable
