My wife and I coincidentally ended up in this bar - tavola calda, which turned out to open since 6:30 a.m. for breakfast and serves lunch as well. The sweets behind the glass counters were attractive and my wife did indulge in a couple of them while we had two tea with lemon to offset the bitterly cold weather outside.... More

Stopped by here with my girlfriend for a coffee and croissant. Both the espresso and croissants were good, but a bit expensive.

Late flight so missed breakfast at the hotel. Happened on the Millennium and went in for breakfast. Very attentive service, and helpful with our many questions. The omelettes were found to be overly salty (probably us not being unused to Italian bacon). The orange juice was freshly squeezed and wonderful. The apricot jam accompanying the toast was particularly flavourful. Have... More

Having arrived in Rome quite early, this was the first place we went to for lunch. Good food, good price, quick service.

We stopped into Millennium multiple times while staying at the Hotel Romanico next door. The service was nice and they had a great selection of grab and go sandwiches and snacks. Great place for a quick, no hassle meal!

We eat here and had a pizza and a carbonara both of which were tasty and the pasta was fresh rather than dried which was unexpected for a cafe. The place is spotless including the toilets. We had drinks here most days as it was close to our hotel and the service was always excellent and the staff very friendly... More

We came to Millennium every morning for a coffee, panini and croissant. Really nice people, we felt so welcome and comfortable. The locals eat and have their morning coffee in here too so that's a good sign. Even the local Polizia and Carabinieri chose to come here...very good sign. Will hopefully be there when we visit again.

Thank Libby S

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
