In the heart of the city centre is a good stop for lunch or aperitivo. The staff inside is really nice and the food is really what an italian person expects to eat. I advice to ask for the "bruschette" and wine! Enjoy!

A very low key place, but if you are in the mood for something different-the meat, cheese, and bruschetta plate is a nice change. We enjoyed the wines and the waitstaff.

This place is amazing! Great beer and the coolest owner. Just all around great people. And the ambiance is just right. Enough bustle to be interesting but quiet enough to hold a conversation. Very creatively laid out and furnished. 5/5 would recommend to a friend.

This place was so charming and the food was all organic and delicious. Our guide informed us that each morning, they get their greens, meats and cheeses from local suppliers and prepare the menu. We had a selection of meats & cheeses paired with red wine, along with their homemade honey & jam. it was really wonderful.

Had an amazing aperitivo here, all ingredients are fresh and the flavours are great. We shared one food board in two which included different cheeses, hams, salami and bruschette.. The owner is kind and very informative. Lovely little place with craft beers.

We literally dropped into this place by accident. The lady serving speaks excellent English and is very proud of the food she prepares from the local farms. We had a "plank" and each selection was a joy! Even the one topped with pesto made from the green carrot leaves. You must try the local beer, it is delicious. Would recommend... More

A very cozy place, difficult to locate from the street. Managed to squeeze in with our family of five, including two children. The food was excellent, direct from two farms in Lazio. The cheese and fresh meat appetizer was very fresh, and the cooked polenta dish was tasty. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall, a nice place, with a... More

Staying in Trastevere

Neighborhood Profile
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
