We liked this restaurant so much we went twice in our 5 day stay in Rome. The restaurant is close to the pantheon and the piazza del navaron but not easy to find. The first visit, the restaurant was very quiet and we were worried...More
This place is downstairs - which makes it lovely and cool on a hot August day. We went for lunch and there was only one other group there - perfect, considering there were booked-out restaurants one block away at the Pantheon

We came here for lunch after our long walking tour since our guide recommended it. She was right the food was fabulous, unfortunately for us there was a family dining who were...More
We were a family of 4 adults and an 8 yr old visiting in June. We were looking for authentic Italian food, and were recommended this place by our tour guide that day. We thought we would give it a try. Easy to locate on...More
This was our favorite restaurant in Rome in times past. Sad to see how it has fallen. Much was not on the menu. When we ordered our appetizer and one of our main courses, we were told they did not have it. So, we ordered...More
Descending down the steps into the place, we didn't know what to expect. It feels like an underground cellar and it's beautifully simple. The food was delightful, especially the Parmesan cream, if you're lucky enough to be there when it's available. The portions are sensible,...More
Good reviews but didn't live up to expectations
Half the menu not available, only ours and 1 other table but still didn't bring all that we ordered. Acceptable food but not that great. Disappointing. Might be better at the weekend
We were there 2 years ago and it was amazing! We raved to our family that we needed to go back to enjoy the different aged Parmesan cheeses and meat platter, and other wonderful entrees. We were seated in the entrance area by the bar...More
Some fantastic dishes here and we got a fantastic server. There was 4 of us and we were hungry the first time so we sampled a large number of dishes. All were good. The server was friendly to us Americans and food was timely and...More
Passes this restaurant walking on our final day in Rome. Unusual location in a cellar, not on the street. Food was excellent. Lemon Risotto and steak with mushrooms, nice wine.
Wait staff was wonderful. Manager was welcoming and checked on us 3 times during our...More
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighborhood museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa
drivers, street vendors, merchants, and locals. There is no rhyme or reason to its winding streets and there's something to see around every corner, so take pleasure in a spontaneous wander.
