I'm not sure how this place could receive a negative review. Our experience boarded on perfect! We arrived just after the restaurant opened to a table set up for the number in our party. We sat down and were promptly offered menus and something to drink. We were attended do throughout our dinner by several wait staff. Our food looked... More

We were warmly welcomed. 2 of the staff even spoke French and helped us to translate some of the ingredients. All were friendly but very busy so that sometimes waiting was a bit too long (dessert, bill). We took pasta with sardines which was al dente and very tasty. As main dish we had a nice sandwich of 2 fishes... More

The restaurant describes itself as Sicilian, but we would have preferred the description 'seafood'. Essentially, that is what it is to the visiting tourist. The staff were friendly enough and the food was well cooked. However, the plates of food arrived luke warm and the flavours of the seafood weren't quite there. After the opening of our bottle of white... More

The service is good and the food not bad but the portions are far too small and far too expensive. There are much better restaurants in Rome and its rating is not justified.

Tasteless food!! Bad even for a decent hospital cafeteria. No flavor at all. The three fishes' tartar are assembled rounds of raw fish to which the cook does not even care to add salt or pepper. Seaffod in the grigliata have some traces of oil oil and again no flavor but that of the crustaceans. Why go to a restaurant... More

Went here for a business lunch and as such it was good - smart decor, professional staff and good wines. Prices for the set menu and gourmet menu (you had to request these as they didn't come with the a la carte menu) were reasonable at €15 for antipasto, primi patti and secondi. However the portions were tiny and although... More

My wife and I had an excellent dinner. We were the first ones there at 8pm; the restaurant was soon filled with diners. Both the food and service were excellent. They started us with a chickpea amuse bouche. The breadbasket consisted of a variety of homemade items. We had two starters: pasta wrapped in eggplant and pasta with raw prawns.... More

We chose this Sicilian themed restaurant based on its good reviews and vicinity to our hotel. We were very pleased with everything. Our waiter was a very pleasant young man who took good care of us. We both ordered three courses and everything was very nicely prepared, modern and flavorful (see photos). Happy for our choice and could absolutely return.... More

I went there last night with a group of 3 couples. The menu is mainly seafood. Even the pasta dishes had seafood in them. If you don't like seafood, I would not recommend this place. Two of the people ordered a fennel salad which was brought with the entrees for the other 4, which was odd. After we ate, they... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
