I recommend this restaurant. The food is good, the team is really nice, kind, polite. The restaurant was affordable. We paid 30 euros for starters, main meal, 2 dessert, drinks and breads. We will come back to this place in our next trip to Rome Thank you to the team

What a good atmosphere you can feel in this place!... that is thanks to the amazing personnel they have. It was my birthday, without any plans or reservation we decided to have dinner in this place, since it was my birthday they offered some champagne and additionally they turned off the lights and sang the happy birthday, totally unexpected experience, all the personnel was extremely friendly, and Alberto the Cuban guy who was in charge of us did his job in an excellent way, I’ll go back there if I come back to Rome.

A stones’s throw from the Pantheon, this is a MUST for anyone visiting Rome. The food was incredible and there was so much choice. My particular favourite was the Oxtail Ragu and the carbonara was delicious too. Very fresh and authentic. Make sure you bring your appetite as the portions are very generous! If you can, get the tables by the front so you can people watch as you relax, or if you prefer a quieter area they have tables opposite the entrance where you can also listen to music. The service is great and if you’re lucky you will get to meet the owner Achille who always has a cheerful welcome for his customers.

*Let's start this review off by saying that the staff's hospitality was really great. The man, who appeared to be the owner as well, was very friendly and did his best to cater to all our needs and was visibly doing this for all is customers. The food was lackluster; especially compared to some of the great tastes that can be had for better prices around Rome. The service and hospitality was definitely the redeeming factor here!

Its location, in a bustling street makes it easy to see and choose this restaurant. Nothing special as a restaurant serving decent food though. The tables in the interior are very close and you barely can move your chair. Outside exactly the same and with all that people going up and down the street looking at your plate don't allow you to enjoy a relaxing meal. The stuff is very polite and helpful. It would be better if you choose this restaurant at a less busy day!

It startet off with waiters rushing us in to get more customers. The street was extremely crowded and people were seated with only a couple inches from de tables around, not very covid-friendly. We had walked past the street once before and the waiter promised us a glass of champagne if we tried their restaurant, later we got the tiniest glass of sparkling wine, which btw tasted really sweet and horrible. The food came extremely fast and did not AT ALL taste home made. I had som chewy gnocchi which got stuck in my mouth. My boyfriend ordered the pasta carbonara, which tasted clumpy, flour-like, sticky and had a bad combinations of tastes. we both just god bad put together dishes all around. Also, since we were sitting outside, we got to see the staff trying to get customers. They were screaming and being really unprofessional towards the guests and eathother. I saw them touching girls walking by and trying to dance with them, just behaving strangely (not appetizing for me). Anyone saying that this is the best food they've had in Rome, need to get out of the touristy streets and find a place that actually serves a good dish of pasta. Lastly, I have eaten fantastic food in Rome for the same price, therefore, this was NOT a good value.

Came here for tea due to the amount of good reviews only to be disappointed. Ordered 3 drinks, the white wine came within 5 minutes and the can of coke and bottle of water took at least 15 minutes. Asked several waiters for this constantly. Restaurant was fairly quiet so seemed unusual to not get the easier drinks first. When it came to ordering food we had to ask to be served. Food was fairly standard. Had better pasta dishes at home in the UK. Tomato pasta was salty and bacon was mainly fat. Ravioli dish was basic and small. Asked the bill instantly after finishing due to the lack of attentiveness and overall friendliness of staff compared to other restaurants we have visited in Italy. When asked for payment they asked if we wanted to tip to which we declined due to the poor service. When we spoke to them about it the gentleman in charge offered a free limoncello shot which we declined and just paid the bill. Keep walking and find somewhere else. The gentleman in charge asked us who our waiter was - we had about 3 and that was collaring them to serve us. Not impressed for our first night in Rome.

We came on a Sunday night. Ordered the clams and mussels and burrata as an appetizer. The mussels and clams were very good. For entrees we ordered the carbonara and the gnocci. Portion sizes were very large. The egg in my carbonara was over cooked; the guanciale was soggy undercooked. Service was slow, we would get regularly forgotten after ordering and would have to remind them. Then at the end the waiter had asked us for service, or gratuity..in cash. When I said no, I only will pay by credit and what’s on the receipt…he pressed again and said “come onnnn”. Wouldn’t stop making a fuss about it until I said fine 5 euros. This was very annoying. At the end of the day, it’s only 5 euros. But it’s the principle of it… Do not go here

Our family were attracted by the welcoming vibe of the manager, he pleased us to offer free glasses of champagne and orange juice for our kid. After he settled us to sit at the outside tables along the corridor (as shown of the photos), we did not receive any attention from the waiters. Not only they did not serve any welcome drinks, but also paid no attention to our table until we needed to "hand up". The staff came taking the order was very impatience. We ordered some soft drinks, two starters, one main and one pasta to share. The main lamb steaks and pasta came first, not until we asked why the starters were not ready, the waiter was "annoyed" and said he would check, later on, the starters (ham with melon) came in a messy look on a dirty plate. When we finished everything, there were no one came to clear the plates nor asking us if any other things or desserts needed. There were many waiting staffs available on that night but no one really paid any attention to our table, even when we asked for the check. Finally we could not help but going to the shop front, we confronted with the manager who greeted us earlier, a waiter heard and tried to offer us some limoncello as a comfort, but we turned down. We told them honestly our feeling of being discriminated for if we were the only Asian customers. It was a very disappointing experience for our first day first dinner in Roma! P.S. all the tables' customers were served with champaign and taken care by the waiters/waitress, we were the only table left out. Even the group who were American visitors next to us, they also chatted with us for how weird for the waiters treated us badly.

This was so disappointing. When ordering our food and wine the waiter kept trying to suggest we change our bottle of wine chianti 20€ (which was quite nice) for a 50€ more expensive version. The bruschetta was passable for €3 However when the main arrived (almost too quickly!) it was terrible! The ravioli was hard to eat and extremely salty. It tasted like Heinz tomato sauce had been poured over it without cooking fully first. The seafood pasta was similar in taste (salty and Heinz based!) We returned both and paid only for the bruschetta and wine. They didn’t question which was telling! All in all I cant recommend this restaurant. I cant recommend this restaurant unless you just want the chianti

The service was amazing! Especially the server Amil was so kind! I would go there any time again because the food was very authentic, delicious and the price was not too high. Perfect place for students and everyone who wants to enjoy good food.

I visited here in September 2022 by chance for lunch and couldn't help but return in December for dinner when I was back in the city. The food is absolutely delicious, couldn't recommend the pasta more! Along with the lovely food was the excellent staff service, they were warm, friendly and excellent in making me feel comfortable as a solo traveller as well as recommending places to visit. I will no doubt be going back here when I return to Rome!!

Great service, great food. We ordered spaghetti to start then fillet steak and lamb for main. The service and the food was excellent. On a very busy Saturday night in time we had been recommended this place by our Vatican tour guide. We had a spaghetti to share between us to start which was fantastic and the the waiter recommended lamb and fillet steak as a main. The steak was cooked to perfection with no grissle and seasoned perfectly so was the lamb. Potatoes were beautiful. Service was excellent and all at a very good price. Brilliant location and would definitely go back. Rose wine was good and draught beer was also good.

We had an outstanding meal - All the waiters were friendly and made our children feel really welcome. Food was the best we had in Rome. Large portions of great quality freshly cooked dishes. The oxtail ragu was amazing and all very reasonably priced

We chose this restaurant based on the reviews and were extremely disappointed with the food. The carbonara was not up to par with other meals. Our mistake was believing the glowing reviews. There must be better choices for meals in the area. We chose poorly!

Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
