Our hotel set us up with complimentary breakfast here. Croissants are to die for. Try the chocolate. Also the coffee and cappuccino is as good as any in Rome. We also enjoyed focaccia ham and cheese sandwiches and excellent gelato.

School kids getting their morning kick, office workers coming in for a brief chat, municipal workers taking their first break of the day. A great spot to see how the cafe culture really works.

This great pastry and coffee place was around the corner from our B7B, Le stanze di Orazio. In fact, when we told them we would be gone before breakfast is served we received a couple vouchers for four Euro. Lots of fancy pastries that I...More

Had breakfast here every morning during our stay in Rome. Frequented by locals and tourists alike, this place had some of the freshest pastries & cookies I've ever enjoyed! They also have soy milk (don't judge you for it) and always have at least one...More

I went here every morning for a week and enjoyed their coffee (especially the cappuccino), pastry and service. The large majority of their customers are locals, who could always go somewhere else if their food and coffee was not good.

Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is

a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and
wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every
shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and
gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but
that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets,
