We went here after a long morning exploring the Vatican museums... We really couldn't recommend this place enough! The food was delicious and the Romans who run the place were a lot of fun and very welcoming! Make sure you ask Maria for the suckling lamb cooked in white wine! Just delicious! Next time we're in Rome we'll go there... More

Family-run and very welcoming. Gave us free samples and tastings of several dishes and deserts, tangerines, and glasses of lemoncello, amaro, and several toasts with prosecco. Food was good quality and value for reasonable price. Sausage stewed in onions was outstanding. A nice neighborhood restaurant owned by a good patriotic family.

I visited Rome in April 2016 as a 60th Birthday treat for my mum. I found this place on TripAdvisor and decided to give it a try. When we got to the entrance we soon discovered it was absolutely packed with a small queue forming outside. However, we were quickly greeted by the lady owner who assured us we would... More

Having spent a few hours in Vatican, it was time to have a mouth-watering diner with my wife. Through Trip Advisor, I found this restaurant, which has recieved reasonable amount of positive comments from customers. By hoping to be served a delicious pasta and pizza, we started to look for the location of the restaurant. It was luckily very close... More

Despite being so close to the Vatican Museum (super touristy), this charming little place made us feel like we were locals and part of the family. Family run, they are all so warm and welcoming! The food is delicious (I have the penne carbonara and my husband had pizza)....they were so sweet they just presented us with an AMAZING dessert,... More

Came with dad mom and sister after our visit to the Vatican museum. Service was beyond excellent and gave us lots of freebies like dessert, mandarin oranges and liquor as a palate cleanser !! We ordered the veggie soup, lasagna and carbonara and it was amazing !!! All our food and wine only cost $35 Highly recommended !!!!!!!

After spending hours in the Vatican today we came out starving and wanting food pretty quickly. We found this little restaurant by chance, the food was outstanding ( pizza and pasta ) complementary bread, the best dessert we have had in Rome yet and chocolates. A family run business who were all friendly and welcoming, 100% recommend it

It was our last reataurant during the recent 4-day stay stay in Rome. We were a group of 8 people and the restaurant was almost closing after lunch, BUT they accepted us and it was an excellent experience. Really nice, family (like) restaurant. Everything we orderd was served very quickly and everything was very tasty. Salami served before the lunch... More
