I ate my way through Italy, and I'm not embarrassed to say it. During my travels, I consumed gelato almost daily. I ate good gelato and bad gelato. DaRe gelato was the best I have tasted in the States and abroad in Italy. It was crazy-good for several reasons. Creamy in texture (the gelato is "whipped"), no strange film that... More

Although they spoke little English the staff were amazingly friendly trying to help communicate the flavours and help us decide. The gelato was AMAZING, super creamy (although it melted quicker) and they change their flavours quite often.

You can tell the gelato made here is made differently than gelato you'd get from most gelaterias. I had a goat's milk flavor and their own DaRe flavor. Both were creamy and delicious. There are also other desserts for purchase, and the staff was friendly and provided great service.

Fantastic ice-cream, super tasty and high quality ingredients. The shop is really nice, small but lovely. And the staff is friendly, great service! Unfortunately we discovered this gelateria on our last day in Rome, we were on our way to the metro station and heading to the airport. Otherwise we would have come back, daily!

This is, by far, the best gelato I had in Rome. It's the kind of texture and flavours you anticipate from gelato in Italy but, in reality, is actually very difficult to find unless you visit a true gelato Master. If you want to have a genuinely exceptional gelato.. Not that icy, artificial stuff.. Make the effort to visit this... More

Even better they will let you try before you choose. Specials are not always the best and I liked more the milk-based gelato than fruit ones.

I lived in Rome for 6 months and was lucky enough to be about 200 yards (ok, meters) from this place. I may be a bit biased by this proximity, but I loved it there and I still think the gelato is some of the best anywhere. They are super nice and will let you try whatever you want and... More

We coordinated 2 gelato lesson workshops at DaRe with the owner Veruska for a group of American students studying at John Cabot University for a semester! Veruska is very passionate and it shows through in every way- from the interior design of her gelato shop, to the pure natural ingredients she uses to the customer service! Simply a must try... Friendly English-speaking staff, delicious gelato. We just passed throughout and saw this spot. Definitely not one of those fake touristic places, and made for locals, who live around.
