We were some of the first foreign tourists back in Rome after the pandemic, so it was easy to see which places were popular with the locals. Osteria da Fortunata always had a line down the block! There is always someone at the window making...handmade pasta and it is truly delicious! Eat all your meal and be rewarded by seeing a little lamb painted on the bottom of your plate!More

Great carbonara with hand made pasta. We had to wait in line for a table but the wait was totally worth it. We had a tiramisu for dessert which was also really good.

Embittered. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. We arrived at the restaurant at 9.30 pm and the manager immediately hurries us to order. Without having seen a menu or in any case without having first sat down, they offer us quick dishes chosen by themselves. We are...roman guys and was late, so we agree and ask for a "house wine". Once we have eaten we ask for another bottle accompanied by a cold cuts platter, I underline that during the evening the menu was never brought to us. We didn't know that after a normal "pasta" dinner, and without the possibility of choice, we had to pay the price of 34 € per person. I was very disappointed, also because what I contest most is the wine, which we asked for "house wine" and we were charged € 24 per bottle. The response to our dispute was a mockery, as they kept saying "eh but I brought you the menu", which is absolutely not true. Now I am attaching the receipt and I hope this bad place does not ruin someone else's evening.More

This place's a marvellous kitchen! But I would particularly like to congratulate the waiters and especially Antonio, who is very kind and professional! I will definitely be back!! :)

I cannot recommend this place enough, especially if you are a pasta lover! Everything on the menu is delicious! My boyfriend and I went there a few times whilst staying in Rome for the weekend. Try the polpette - AMAZING! Staff was friendly and yes...- some dishes take longer, but this is not a fast food chain so I am not sure what people expect.More

The pasta was just amazingly good! Same with the desert! The waiter (Federico) super kind and attentive. Summa summarum, I absolutely recommend it, if you wanna go for good traditional Italian and especially Roman food!!

We went here for a light lunch and had Caprese salad with bread and oil. The bread and oil were 8 euros! Although we did think that the Caprese salad was very good quality, the quantity received for 16 euros left a bitter taste. The...place is very busy and the staff are a little bit overrun but it may just be due to the time we arrived (around midday).More

I recommend this place to people who would like to try local food. The dishes are simple but it is a strength as they are very good.

Service is what let’s this place down big time. They don’t have enough staff to keep up with the amount of tables. We were waiting about 45 mins for a buratta and then another 30 mins after finishing that for 2 plates of pasta. Food...was good but after waiting that long it wasn’t enjoyable.More

Carbonara was not so great, it was kind of specific, tried a better one, but my boyfriend liked it a lot. He ordered Roman Gnocchi and it actually tasted as polish gulasz, which we both didn’t like. Unfortunately cannot recommend this place, but maybe other...dishes are way better. Jakub liked his red wine. +The place was full, but staff found a comfortable place for us to eat without making a reservation. Kasia&JakubMore
