I was so looking forward to coming here, but it turned out to be the worst experience in our 3 weeks in Rome. We had 4 adults, 2 children, and a baby. We waited in line before being seated inside. It was 101 degrees during...the day but was probably about 90 outside at this point. The air conditioning in the room was broken keeping it at about 95-100 degrees inside. I approached the man you sat us to ask if we could move to another room or outside. He first said, “f$ck” when I reminded him we had 6 people and a baby. Then he said “go stand over there” while he shooed me with his hand to move across the street. I said, “um, no…” He then shooed me again and said “just go somewhere else.” I was flabbergasted and frankly enraged. I then took our baby outside while the rest of our party ate as quickly as possible to get out of that room. After they paid our bill (without me eating), I approached the man again to tell him that I didn’t appreciate the way in spoke to me. He got extremely defensive and sarcastically kept saying, “oh yeah, I’m terrible” as he rolled his eyes. When my brother in law told the manager or owner what happened, he wasn’t apologetic and didn’t seem to care at all. This place is a total tourist trap. Even if the guy wasn’t incredibly rude, the food was still mediocre (according to my family who ate it fresh and me who ate left overs later). There are so many other wonderful places in Rome to get delicious fresh pasta with friendly servers and attentive owners. This place is not at all worth it. If you do decide to go, avoid the 5ft tall guy with a man bun.More
