Very good restaurant. We have been there twice for lunch. The carbonaras and alfredos are delicious. Good wine and every bite worth the price. It was not very expensive. The service was verry good and thw view over the medieval church was so romantic. Very...More

The food is expensive and not that good. The fries were a large order and pretty tasty. The club sandwich was subpar. Wifi spotty but free and no password (Thompson is the name). Ate on the patio. Quiet area in the busy part of Rome...More

Lovely setting, close to the forum etc. But really very disappointing in every other way. We ordered an expensive glass of frascati but waiter brought Chardonnay instead. Got very mediocre pizzas. Service was fast but surly. Best avoided.

Had an normal but v. expensive aperatif here and asked for advice about where to eat. They sent us next door to San Teodoro restaurant and one of the worst dining experiences ever in multiple trips to Italy. Yikes!!

Contrary to the chaos of the city, the Aventine is
Rome’s oasis. A neighborhood made up of a patchwork of
ancient churches, hidden gardens, private homes and
embassies, peace and quiet is top priority and the
vibe definitely friends and family. Take a walk around
the Aventine and you’ll find a treasure hunt of
surprises like the clever little keyhole at the
Knights of Malta entrance (the only place you’ll find
