Tucked off major commercial street. Place was filled with locals. We shared an antipasto - mozzarella and prociutto. Spaghetti with tomato sauce and meatballs w/ cannellini beans for main course. BOttle of red wine. Total bill was 44 euros. Everything was amazing. Service as well.

My husband and I stayed in Monti for 5 days and had a lunch and a dinner here. This spot was filled with locals--a sign of deliciousness. Our lunch was lovely. My husband had the cacio e pepe which did not disappoint, and I had a chicken dish. When we returned for dinner another day, the service was awful. As... More

This place has a great cuisine. It is filled with delicious italian food (of course, since it it italian). The name of the restaurant is fun. It has great house wine, the lasagna is to die for, ( delicious), and the pasta as well. The staff is very friendly. It is a small restaurant so make a reservation beforehand if... More

Sort of off the beaten track. close to ancient Rome. Spaghetti Bolognese and Tonnarelli Vaca? White house wine was enjoyable. Like alot of restaurants in Rome.

The food was good and the staff very friendly. Sadly we'd gone there specifically for gluten free and aside from the dishes that happened to not have pasta in there was nothing.

This was the first place my girlfriend and I went after our arrival in Monti. It did not disappoint! We started with bruschetta that had some super fresh tomatoes. My girlfriend ordered the spicy pasta and I had carbonara. Both were absolutely delicious. The interior is a bit small, as is the outside area l, but it's worth a short... More

Came here on a recommendation, reserved table through hotel and when we arrived no reservation. Food average, service poor and when asking for ice in a 30c plus room told machine broken. All the tables are jammed in. Can find better.

I was recently vacationing in Rome with my family (including my 8yo daughter). Our host recommended Hosteria La Vacca M'briaca to us for dinner. The food was so delicious that we came for a second meal two days later before we left for home. Besides the delicious food, it is a small somewhat "hole in the wall" restaurant with a... More

My husband and I went here over lunch, and were impressed by the lovely coffee. We both loved our fresh pasta (I had the oxtail, husband had the rigatoni amatriciana) and the tiramisu was good as well. The staff were lovely and friendly.

The chef in the kitchen took out homemade pasta from a plastic container... perhaps it was homemade at Carrefour?? The cheese pasta was tasteless although it was highly recommended by the waiter... Service was poor to add injury to insult... Well perhaps I was there at the wrong day and time (Sunday), but this was one of the "misses" for... More
