When I got here, there was a street food tour at the same time & quite the queue....but it was totally worth the wait. I asked what was good....and quite rightly was told all of it! I had Caramel, Choc Chip & Rum & Raisin...More
Limited selection is probably a good sign, we had high expectations and am giving four stars mainly because the flavors available were not amongst our favorites. Many alcohol ones and not enough fruit based ones during our visit.
Will try to visit again before leaving.
We stumbled upon this shop while walking around Rome. Very nice man runs the shop. There are some unique flavors. My wife tried th Agrumi e pepperoncino (orange lemon chili) and I had the pistacchio bronte (special pistacchios from Sicily). Both were excellent.
We had ginger & almond with caramel & banana and honey & chilli with chestnut....it all worked. The chilli flavor was really interesting- not too strong but with a distinct after-taste. Going back to try more tomorrow.
There is a lot of gelato in Rome but this gelato is seriously good. In addition to the typical flavors you would expect to find there are more unusual ones. The spicy chocolate (think Mexican hot chocolate)and persimmon are good but if it is available,...More
It's been 5 years since we first found this little gem and 3 years since our last trip across the seas to 'Roma' and we sought out our fave gelateria. The pistachio Di Bronte was good as ever but we missed some of the more...More
This is the best gelato in Rome! Fresh and homemade you won't find better. Flavors change often and all are super delicious. Enjoy your cold sweet while checking out the ruins that host a "cat sanctuary" across the street. Very cool!
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighborhood museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa
drivers, street vendors, merchants, and locals. There is no rhyme or reason to its winding streets and there's something to see around every corner, so take pleasure in a spontaneous wander.
