This restaurant is small, not fancy but AMAZING! All ingradients are fresh and dishes carefully prepared by the restaurant owner. Sometimes she is the one responsible to serve the table. I strongly recommend this place.

Went to try this place on a visit to Rome since I was staying in the neighborhood and was disappointed it no longer exists. A new restaurant called "Ham" was under construction at the time I was there in early May.

It has been now several times that we come back to this truly genuine family run trattoria. Classic atmosphere, fast and gentle service. The variety of pasta dishes is very intersting. Try the rigatoni, the cacio e pepe or the great Carbonara. Main courses good and so the deserts. Good house wine and list.

This was a great, authentic yet inexpensive dinner somewhat close to our hotel in Rome, much better than some of the other disappointing meals we had in the city. Highly recommended!

Yes, Epoca is one of those restaurants - so few in Rome - where the food and service is always high standards. the menu is gives you a variety of tradizional recipes and the quality is always constant. All of the pastas are home made or fresh and always good. The "secondi" vary from meats to fish and are good.... More

On our first visit, the waiter (Roco I think) was so helpful, informative and accommodating helping us select the most authentic dishes. Couldn't fault the restaurant, service or food. Great experience. Thank you.

Set in a relatively quiet part of the city, Epoca seems to appeal to the locals as much as to visitors. We received excellent, friendly service, very good value and wonderful, freshly prepared home cooked meals. Thank you for making us so welcome, for going to the trouble of finding fresh orange juice and for my complimentary creme caramel (with... More

This traditional family run trattoria in the quartiere Trieste was a suprise. Not a tourist place. We were there for lunch on December 31st. The waiter was very friendly & efficient. The menu was well articulated. The first courses were very good, the recipes as in the traditional Roman cuisine - a rarity today - same as the second course... More

Epoca purtroppo dovra cambiare location.
