We blustered into this restaurant late on a Sunday night surrounded by a torrential downpour. Of course Lucifer's favourite restaurant was open on a Sunday night though! We were greeted by the owner, who had a glass of wine in hand and escorted us to the table. Before a word had been said he plonked down two glasses of white... More

We stumbled upon this place after a long day at the Vatican. The friendly staff gave us a table on the condition that we finish by 9 -- it's popular and all the tables were booked on a Thursday night. Our meal was fantastic. Specialty is "tomino," a mild cheese that is melted with your choice of something, e.g. grilled... More

This lovely little place hits all the right spots. It has outstanding service and staff, lovely ambience and, delicious food. We had one of the nicest meals we have had in Europe (and we travel a lot). Thank you very much to the owners and staff for creating such a wonderful restaurant.

Definitely worth a visit. As we walked through the door there was a delicious smell of truffle and that's exactly what we ate!

Tiny place with few tables that need reservation (however next door is Taverna Lucifero that shares some menu items and belongs to the same family, if you don't make it to Cantina). We have tried various dishes. Some are decent, some - marvelous, so ask for recommendation of the waiter. All the things with truffles, beef bourguignon, meat al Barolo,... More

The food was excellent, the place is small but very cozy and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We went there twice during our stay in Rome, and will definitely go again. Carpaccio, beef and baked potatoes are just out of this world! Really great chocolate mousse too. Highly recommended!

We were told this place was delicious by friends but we're absolutely amazed by the quality and value of the Truffle dishes and the wine. We would return in a heartbeat.

A small restaurant, I would recommend a reservation. It has a relaxed atmosphere. They offered us complimentary Prosecco/champagne when we sat. The menu had great variety and many wine choices. Their desserts were very nice. They also gave us complimentary biscotti/chocolates and Grappa or Limoncello to wind up the evening. Lovely place, try to go there.
