Came back to Rome after a few years. Glad I did. As Usual I went to Cremeria Monteforte. Fantastic Gelato, probably best one in Rome and friendly service across from Pantheon. Sono toranto a Roma dopo qualche anno, come al solito siamo andati alla Cremeria Monteforte. Un posto fantistico, il miglior Gelato di Roma e servizio amichevole di fronte al... More

Amazing! Even a lactose intolerance is not keeping me away. Soo creamy! Got a tub €5 - 3 flavours - pistachio/tiramisu/coconut - amazing.

The DK guide book rightly suggests this gelateria but sadly they only make chocolate and orange in the winter, so the nice man said. Console yourself with pistachio though, you won't be disappointed!

We found it during our honeymoon after visiting the pantheon, it says on the door that it is the best gelato in Rome, well it is at least in the top 5 I would say! I had the pistachio which was like eating pistachios, and the tiramisu, a mousse rather than a ice cream, was just a delight, like eating... More

My kids said this was one of the best gelatos they had ever had. And they had a lot whilst in Italy! Great selection of flavours.

Right beside the Pantheon. If you stand facing the Pantheon entrance it is just to your right on the little side street. I've had gelato daily (sometimes twice) looking for fresh, authentic stuff for our whole 12 day visit to Italy and stumbled on this on our last day. Simply the best - taste it and you know it is... Search no further than this humble gelataria for the best creamy gelato in all of Rome. Just around the corner from the Pantheon. Easy to find, friendly staff; it may be busy but the short wait is worthwhile!

In a great location near the Pantheon, this gelato shop is a must visit when in the area. It's very well priced and has a good selection. The chocolate mousse is a must and one of the best flavours I've tasted. The mousses are unlike normal gelato you get in other shops and definitely worth a try (they also do... More

Found this gym just round the side of the pantheon, I had cherry and banana tastes so fresh you could tell it was real home made gelato! Sat and cooled off whilst enjoying the view!

We were leaving the Pantheon and saw this gelataria. After having a bad meal in Rome we really started relying on if businesses were Trip Advisor recommended (if there was a sign in their window) and the Cremeria is. They have so many wonderful flavors, friendly staff and very reasonable prices. Just be careful if you get a cone...it can... More
