I was passing by this street heading to the rail station and stopped at this restaurant on a friend suggestion. I had little time and so ordered only a starter and a main dish (puntarelle, a typical roman vegetable, and trippa , another local meat dish). Both the dishes were very good and they also served us an additional starter... More

This is a great fish restaurant and this is the one located near the Via Veneto. We went for lunch and packed with Roman businessmen. Great service....good food....poor local wine

Over salted food. Pasta was a good texture, just way salty. First time in my life I ever considered sending food back to a kitchen. I struggled through, but this was the only bad food I had in Italy, also unfortunately the last food I had before leaving Italy. Seafood was notably better in Sirolo. Not worth the $100+ you... Wonderful little spot that felt like an authentic Rome restaurant with no tourists. The servers were fun and helpful, and the fish dishes were exceptional. We would definitely return.

Just down the road from our beautiful hotel - Hotel Splendide Royal, Rome, this restaurant offers a nice and simple local vibe and cuisine. Very reasonably priced and great service.

We ordered cabonara and monk fish pasta. Initially, we felt the taste was good. However, as the cheese melted and we tasted the bacon it was just too salty for us to finish the meal. Probably, the Romans love salty food.

Perfect food, perfect wine, perfect service, perfect environment. It is not at an obvious site, we found this place by advisor. After we ordered our dish, they recommended a bottle of wine which perfectly matched with our dishes. If I have a second chance to go Rome, I'll definitely take my friend go there again.

This restaurant was a chance discovery. We were wandering around looking for a place to eat, and we noticed that this place was full of Italian diners, which is always a good sign. I won't go into individual meals, but all of our courses were absolutely excellent - Michelin Star quality, and at reasonable prices. It is a little off... More

Excellent lunch. Great fresh fish. Linguine with shrimps & aubergine & the grilled octopus were delicious. Professional & friendly waiters in a charming family restaurant.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
