We stopped by for some gelato so we can sit. Great location just a few blocks from the spanish steps and near some great shopping. Gelato was good as most places are but didn't blow me away. My 4 year old daughter didn't like their stracciatella as much as some others she has had in and around Rome. Pistachio and... More

Bar Frattina is a nice place to take a break from walking and enjoy a drink, beer or a coffee. It is a great place to sit and watch people walking by. Loads a fun to sit and enjoy the world walk by. The food is quite nice too.

Stopped here to quench our thirst! We enjoyed a couple of Aperol Spritz! Nicely mixed spritz they were too! They were very refreshing. Their bar snacks were very generous... The usual potato chips with olives and a couple of tasty sandwiches were much appreciated. We were envious of the gelato that was being enjoyed by several other visitors, so thought... More

Fancy a coffee? That's what I felt like so we ordered a ginger coffee ( espresso € 4) and a cappuccino ( € 3.50) The position is great to observe people passing by, this time we spotted Bruno Vespa ( the famous journalist) and Gigi Marzullo ( famous for his midnight program).

We've been to this place two times. They have really tasty coffee and icecream. We've ordered also two glasses of white wine and received a little snack for free with it. Prices are reasonable.

Came across this little bar after lots of sight-seeing, so was glad of the seat and a cold beer. beer was good and accompanied by the usual crisps and olives, also not as expensive as many other bars near the Spanish Steps. when we ordered a second drink, the waiter also brought us some more olives, crisps and also a... Stopped for a pizza and two Spritzers. Pizza was no better than what you would buy from a supermarket. As for the Spitzer, I had much better. Not a place I would recommend unless you really need to have something and carry on.

Stopped here after dinner for an ice cream to share and some beer. Were also given some crisps, bite size sandwiches and olives for no extra cost! Very good presentation, and a nice cobbled street to sit and people watch whilst cooling down and having an enjoyable snack/dessert. This is just our second night out of 5 days so will... More

By strolling in Via Fratina and I saw so much beautiful shops, I make a break on the terrace in Frattina to drink an espresso, that enchant me with his aroma; the atmosphere is unic, observing flair of Rome .

This bar is situated along a busy street leading from the Spanish steps to the shopping centre of the city. The reviews were OK and we were thirsty so we decided to stop here after a log walk. There is a good choice on the menu including cakes, sandwiches and smoothies. The strawberry and mango smoothies were very nice and... More
