Great, freshly made sandwiches. The shop is small. The quality of the food is amazing. The prices unbelievable. When you travel Europe as a family with teenage sons affordable, fresh food is a must. Feed the entire family with soft drinks for 20 euro. I'm not afraid to pay a little more for great food but sometimes you just want... More

Visited here a couple of times when visiting Rome. Great paninis for 4 Euros - delicious salads. Great value to pick up a takeawy lunch or snack to enjoy - lots of locals there which means it must be good!

Probably the best "on stand" meal that you can find around Rome. Try the salmom with truffle spread with artichoke!

This tiny little sandwich shop punches well above its weight. A huge menu of 30 sandwiches, delicious fresh ingredients (all meat sliced in front of you) and great service. At €4 they're a bargain rarely found in Rome.

The title above says it all. Elsewhere in Rome we paid from 3€80 to 6€ for a sandwich but this place has a selection of 30+ standard filling combinations made while you wait at a fixed 4€ which is great given the location (on the main route from Spanish Steps to Trevi). I had the Tortorria (spelling?) which was delicious... More

Very nice service. The sandwich, Mario de Fiore, I had was good. There wasn't anything amazing about it. The price, 4E, was great for the location.

Great place to get a quick bite. The ingredients are fresh, and the sandwiches are made with care. Stop there on the way to the Trevi fountain, and picnic at the Trevi fountain!

Stopped here for a quick lunch. Ordered the Laurina sandwhich and a cup of sangria. The sandwich was very flavorful and I really like it because the bread was thin and soft. The sangria was tasty and refreshing. Definitely would come back to try their other day sandwiches.

Neighborhood Profile
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
