Thank you to the wonderful staff at Lotti for paying special attention to our little one who had a little present each time we visited. Beautiful pastries and coffee with flavour unlike some places.

We have been going here for years and the staff and owners are unchanged. What has changed is that they keep on getting better. Being open early on Sunday is a big plus. They recently added soy milk as an option, which is great. Impecable service and pleasant seating outside where you can see the world go by as you... More

We are staying right next to this cafe in an apartment. We went to have breakfast this morning and they asked us to sit outside at a table. Service was decent, but when we got our bill we were shocked, as they overcharged us. We also were charge for items we did not ask for. The old lady who owns... More

Cafe Lotti just happened to be around the corner from our hotel and walking passed you can't help notice all the sweet goods out front. But don't be fooled into thinking it is only desserts. As you walk in you are warmly greeted by a Nona who will happily walk you through all of the savory selections on that day's... More

Found this little place by accident but so glad we did! Traditional and family run, they were so attentive. We enjoyed lasagne rosa followed by tiramisu coffee. Want a genuine piece of Italy? This is your place. They also sell cakes and gelato

We stop by Lotti on a Sunday morning. The place is a small hole-in-the-wall, but neat and clean. They have tables both inside and out on the sidewalk. We use the inside dining area for breakfast. My wife has scrambled eggs and coffee, while I have a ham omelet and coffee. The staff are very friendly with limited English. The... More

Very good food, coffee, and friendly service. Would recommend. All the sweets were very tasty, and the place had a welcoming feel.

We enjoyed two lovely breakfasts here at this wonderful cafe, just a few blocks from the Westin. The owner is a warm, engaging woman who made us feel instantly comfortable and who attended to our every need, despite the fact that she spoke no English. The coffee and pastries were very good, and we enjoyed some of the more substantial... More

It was close by our hotel, so we thought we would give it a go. Well, we were made very welcome as we walked in. My wife chose a slice of fruit pie and raved over how good it tasted. I thought that I would give a double expresso a try - now hooked, had another immediately after. We went... More

We thought the pastries were delicious, the food was terrible. Make sure to ask prices in advance. We were 100% taken advantage of because we were not paying attention, our fault. We don't want this to happen to you. We were charged 4.00 for a water. 7.00 for a tiny biscotti cookie. We were given a handwritten reciept never saw... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
