Sometimes you want a plain good pizza and other times you want a mouthful of toppings. La Boccaccia caters to both. We tasted seven varieties (hey, we took thinner slices, we are not that chubby 😃) and all of them were fresh and tasty. Service...More

When visiting Trastevere you must go and test this place! Best pizza I have ever eaten. Crusty and tasteful.

La Boccaccia has incredibly yummy take-away snacks with tasty fillings and toppings. I liked the vegeterian versions the most. Quite hard to find as the medieval streets of the Trastevere are interlaced circles that makes it hard to find one’s way.

La Boccaccia is the best pizza al taglio place that I have been to in Rome. The "Crostino" is my all time favorite. Pizza with ham and cheese. The staff is cordial and quick. Lovit

Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded
postcard, a little worn around the edges but still
charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering
streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and
overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible
mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of
entertainment - a rotating set of street performers
entertains almost every night, and unforgettable

This isn't actually a traditional restaurant, more like a fastfood restaurant, where most of the people just grab pizza slice to go.
