Filled with locals! That means it's good. It definitely was! Great fried zucchini. No wifi to encourage patrons to talk to each other.

This little gem is right down the street from our apartment. How fortunate for us! A neighborhood place to dine. We were the only tourists in the place. The food was inexpensive compared to Rome center and much better than anything else we had. We are here almost every night. I recommend the spaghetti with clams, mixed grilled fish with... More

I visited the restaurant after a recommendation from the hotel. It turned out to be a great little place with local food and local staff which were very helpful in deciding the meals. Prices are reasonable.

I lived in italy for 2 years and came to eat here almost every month. Now when I visit Rome (at least twice a year) I always set aside a night to eat here with friends. The prices are very good and the food is good basic italian food - straccetti alla rughetta, pasta matriciana. I cannot even count the... More

We went there for dinner one evening and ordered the Gnocchetti with Provolone Cheese and Zucchini - my jaw dropped and my belt loosened! The best plate of pasta I've ever eaten in my... More

While visiting Rome in July 2014 with my family we came across this fantastic little restaurant. The food was delicious and the friendly and family atmosphere created by the staff and Leo, the owner was unique. We were looking for a place where Romans go and not a tourist spot and we found it. Good food, wine and nice friendly... More

We liked the place. Good service. I loved my secondo: fried meatballs with tomato and rucola. Price 6 euros. I have had my share from pizzerias at Rome. So this osteria gets points that there is no pizza available.
