Nice family restaurant 800 m from Holiday Inn Express San Giovanni. I have been there several times over the last 18 months. I have got good food and service and prices are reasonable. This place seems to be a neighborhood restaurant.

Good food and service in a local ambiance, a real winner if you are staying In the area around Trastevere station.. although it's hard to imagine why you would make q trip from other areas of the city. The desserts are fantastic!

Above the city on the Janiculum hill, Monteverde is
Rome’s popular "getaway" neighborhood, coveted for its
greenery. Rome's largest urban park, Villa Pamphili,
is the area's centerpiece with affordable prices and
peace and quiet. Monteverde is just far enough away
from the center to feel like you’re on a Roman holiday
and close enough to feel the lure of Rome's chaos.
Though its downside is the lack of scheduled public
