Not the friendliest staff but great dinner. I went there two times, and had the same dish twice. Although I was tempted to try other dishes (also the Pizza had a wonderful fragrance) but the filetto was so soft and tasteful I could not resist. There were a lot of locals that apparently came there often… and with reason. All... More

Went for dinner to be served by a very handsome monk! who was helpful in ordering and making suggestions. The food was delicious, especially the porcini with pasta. It was very reasonable and we enjoyed it so much we went back the next lunchtime, although quite a few things were unavailable on the menu which was a bit disappointing but... More

We arrived early. They let us enjoy drinks while we waited for the restaurant to open. Atmosphere fantastic. Food delicious. Recommend highly.

All was perfect in this restaurant. Food is typical and the crew niceful. Compared to some restaurants in Rome center, it is clearly cheaper for a better food quality.Servers wear monk clothes which give the impression of monastery restaurant. We spent an excellent moment and decided to come back one more time before leaving Italy.

Restaurant is close to Pulitzer hotel and food was excellent and cheap. Loved the dress code for staff all dressed as monks. Service was ok. Had the Amatriciana and was extremely tasty and large portion. Dessert is divine

Have been there during a business trip for dinner. What can I say, it is simply delicious. Had a Italian starter plate followed by risotto scampi and tiramisu. Everything highly recommended. And it is not expensive for Rome.

We went here twice while staying at Hotel Pulitzer. The menu is in English as well as Italian and they have the widest selection of meals from any restaurant we visited on our trip. On our second visit we ordered a convento style calzone but the waiter misunderstood us and brought a convento style pizza. After explaining the issue they... More

Would recommend this restaurant for a truly "locals" experience. It was packed whilst we were there. Great food, carbonara, "brothers in sleeves", etc. Beware if you are walking from hotel Pulitzer past the rat infested illegal encampment and across an impassible highway and don't be put off by the tarpaulins across the restaurant roof. If you can get there in... More
