Nice service, easy food, ok with kids

Went with the family for a quick monday nite dinner. Made us feel welcome with kids, 8 & 12. Easy meals, mix of Italian and modern. Was nice to east something without cheese, bread or tomatos. Will go back again during our week here. Was nice that is was only 50m rd the corner.

Best Cheeseburger I've had in my life! Had sheeps cheese in the middle! What a great experience! And got a history lesson from the bartender just sitting there enjoying my burger! One of the best places I went to in Rome!

Anima Mundi is around the corner from our hotel and decided to have a relaxing dinner. The place is very inviting, the staff extremely friendly and attentive and the food, although basic (by design), it was good. Overall it makes for a great break from the traditional establishments

Found AnimaMundi close to our accommodation and stopped in for a night cap. Due to a family member losing their passport I got to spend a few more nights. The staff were fantastic and the food excellent. One of the few places that will miss after leaving Rome.

We had our first meal in Rome here, next to our apartment on via Al Velabro. The food was excellent (lasagna and spaghetti bolognese), staff friendly and attentive. Fun place!

It is close to our hotel and perfect for a light dinner. We had a small bite bar with a beverage for 10 euro. There was cold risotto, pasta, bruchetta ,carrots and a small piece of lasagna. Plus more.

TA app led us here, and we were pleased. More veggie options than other places, not crowded when we went, but place was hip so probably filled up later. Friendly, efficient service with wi-fi. Outdoor lounge seating. Would go back if in that area, restaurant is tucked in a corner down a small hill, but worth the walk.

Really friendly staff with a lot of knowledge about the city. Good selection of beer and wine, and really good food. I especially liked their pizzas and salads, and they also have a really good burger. I'm defintly comming back.

Best burger I've ever had. Traditional style Italian burger with cheese in the centre. I would recommend this place if you're near the colloseum and are running low on fuel. Tasty as all he'll :) I will be back next time I'm in Rome.

We went with friends in the middle of the night, having been recommended by our very helpful hotel (Fortyseven) after we returned too late one evening for dinner. It was fabulous and gave us fifty-somethings something to be proud of afterwards - recognising the great music being played for a very hipster clientele (apart from us four). Hilarious and to... Staying in Aventine

Neighborhood Profile
Aventine
Contrary to the chaos of the city, the Aventine is Rome’s oasis. A neighborhood made up of a patchwork of ancient churches, hidden gardens, private homes and embassies, peace and quiet is top priority and the vibe definitely friends and family. Take a walk around the Aventine and you’ll find a treasure hunt of surprises like the clever little keyhole at the Knights of Malta entrance (the only place you’ll find a line) along with Parco Savello (Giardino degli Aranci) next to the ancient Santa Sabina church. Keep your eyes on the 1960s architecture, several modern buildings are built atop Rome’s original 4th century BC wall.
