Recommended by our Eating Italy tour guide (even though it wasn't on our tour), the oldest cookie bakery in Rome. The proprietor has been making cookies here for 50+ years and they are simply the best and very reasonable. Luckily for us we were here...More

It's still the same lady who was there 7y ago when we visited the cookie shop for the time. The cookies are all hand made in the big oven. The storefront doesn't look any special and there is no advertisement. But the cookies are special....More

Cute, honoust, nostalgic, delightful … created by the "nonna" and open until late in the evening. Friendly owners with every customer ( tourist included!) and not expensive. The biscuits " brutti ma buoni" are really melting on your tongue. It's a pitty you can't buy them...More

Delicious baked goods located in the trastevere. We lined up behind locals to order delicious cookies and biscotti. It is not fancy looking and you might just walk on by but dont! Unfortunately we didnt find it until our last day

We walked by this bakery by accident and the amazing smell just made us go in. The woman helping was very kind. The cookies were excellent and homemade! After we went back for another round!

Based on the glowing reviews, we went out of our way to visit this tiny bakery in Trastevere. The cookies were overpriced and overcooked.

We saw this on trip advisor and were surprised to find it behind our rooms. We asked for the recommendations and a gorgeous gentleman spoke in Italian and with a smile. He filled a bag of assorted biscuits and gestured “ no more otherwise you...More

For the best biscuits and cakes- look no further! €2.50 for 100g were enough for afternoon coffee for the two of us.

This bakery was truly amazing. Family owned and operated and hidden off the main path. The pastries and cookies are just delicious and I don't even like sweets. Just go and find it and eat a lot!

This place was amazing. The best bakery we tried in Rome. Not exactly on a main drag but not too difficult to find and the value for money is through the roof. The choice is huge and the pastries are brilliant. Just go and find...More

Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded
postcard, a little worn around the edges but still
charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering
streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and
overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible
mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of
entertainment - a rotating set of street performers
entertains almost every night, and unforgettable
