Discovered this gem of a restaurant based on excellent reviews. Incredibly friendly and welcoming staff, especially Riccardo. Family owned and run restaurant with amazing home cooking. It felt like I was a guest in someone’s home. We even were blessed with a appearance by momma...More

I’ve been here twice and have enjoyed my experiences both times immensely. Just went with a group of 13, expecting to be separated, and we were easily accommodated; they set a table up very quickly in their party room downstairs. The staff has been lovely,...More

Eating here will take you back to eating dinner at Nonna’s house and if you don’t have one you will know what it’s like when you leave. Portion sizes generous, flavours are spot on and the service was the best you’ll get in Italy. Highly...More

My wife and I are on our honeymoon and we’ve been traveling through Rome and the Amalfi Coast. We’ve visited over a dozen ristorantes in Italy now, but nothing compares to the authentic taste and family atmosphere that you receive with Su & Giu Cucina...More

We ate the gnocchi, ravioli as well as the Ox Tail and all were amazing! We arrived early before they opened and they still sat us. Enjoyed a great bottle of wine and were not rushed to finish our meal! Would recommend to anyone visiting!

Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is
the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in
a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is
a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and
wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every
shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and
gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but
that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets,

No reservations needed but if you don't go early you might be out of luck. We showed up at 745 on a Friday and got the last table (for 2), and many were turned away after that.
