Definitely visit here if you want an authentic taste of Italy. Amazing food, way way better than the restaurants in the squares. Wish we’d found it sooner !

An unexpected find on a night walk through Rome. Welcoming, good home cooked food, wonderful friendly and helpful staff and a great atmosphere. Great value for money.

we were walking around the area to find a place for dinner when we saw the cafe. quaint, quiet and cute little cafe tucked into the building. we loved the simple menu and friendly wait staff who explained the menu and suggested some items and...drinks for us to try. we ended with a squid ragut pasta which was lovely and a hearty plate of octopus and potatoes sort of salad.More

We walked passed this lovely caffè and we decided to have our dinner there. So happy we did. The menu is relatively small but all the food is amazing and at a good price; my husband loved their hamburger. The service was great, lovely and...efficient staff. I would definitely recommend it.More

This place is really lovely and feels very authentic. The bar at the front is great and the restaurant part has a really cosy feel. There's not a huge menu but what's on it is really tasty. I had the lemon spaghetti and it was...10/10, so delicious. Staff didn't speak much English (they do speak French though) but were so friendly and approachable so it was easy enough to communicate.More

you can tell how good a caffe in a busy tourist centre is by the flow of locals who frequent it is. Caffe Peru ha selection of food and drinks to go plus a range to eat in - and it's main customers are from...the offices and apartments in the immeadiate area - a good sign we just did beer and it was cold, generous and full of flavour with great serviceMore

Had our first meal in Rome here. Lemon Spaghetti - amazing, almost best meal of entire holiday. All our food was awesome. Great, attentive staff, lots of locals. Great wine. Highly recommended. I can’t wait for my next visit. Thank you. Fiona

I have been here before and returned happily, looking forward to good sipping coffee (Caffe Americano) -- it's still good. The problem with my visit this time: I brought two friends and treated them. They each ordered an amaro and I the coffee. Since I...don't drink alcoholic beverages, I am unfamiliar with the prices. I paid the 13,50 euros without thinking. My friend caught the problem and pointed to my receipt. The clerk charged me for four orders of amaro rather than two. It was not crowded and so not a likely mistake. She returned my six euros without a word when I went back to point out the mistake. Word of warning now to tourists passing through. Disappointing to say the least!More

Only a few yards from the English college we stopped by for a very late lunch. We asked for a Chicken salad which I didn't realise wasn't on the menu but the staff were great and making it was no trouble. The portion sizes were...large and certainly helped refuel after a long morning walking and sightseeing. We walked past later that evening and it was really busy with a great atmosphere. Its not the biggest place but would be worth waiting for a table.More
