Wonderful experience and certainly worth the 20-25 minute cab ride to the suburbs. Our waitress spent time translating the menu and we sample a good proportion of it and loved it all. Some highlights included meatballs, onion rings!, green beans, pasta and clams, and carbonara. Definitely felt like we were off the beaten path and experiencing a real local gem.... More

We were a little skeptical when we first arrived because not only is the restaurant a little out of the way but also all the food had to be translated from a black board in Italian with no prices at all! But turned out to be not only one of the best but also the most reasonably priced meals we've... More

The moment I walked through the door the smell of outstanding food permeated the air. Excellent Roma cuisine - homemade pasta with bacon and a nice house red wine with refreshing and decadent deserts. The wait staff was outstanding and translated the extensive menu for our party of five. The meal was inexpensive, but you would never know it by... More

Am excellent meal at very reasonable prices. A local joint in a residential area with great food. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Not to be missed!

This is a little bit out of town but was recommended by the apartment owner I stayed at. Was well worth the trip out. First attempt to go was fully booked and then on a Monday night it was still rammed. Food was excellent and unlike any pasta dish experienced in Italy. Service was very good as well considering how... More

I learned about this restaurant by reading some blogs and articles on the internet and decided to try it. I was a little skeptical since it is not near the center of Rome and I didn't know what to expect. It took a while for the taxi driver to find the street on his map and even when we were... More

The first dishes were completely different from the usual pasta places in Rome. the sauces diSecondfferent and veeery tasty- Seconds also was a very tasty surprise. From one to ten, for the first time in many years I would give full marks. Price was very well contained. The service friendly and efficient, and considering the place was packed we got... More

Very nice food in an area that no taxi driver likes to go! Great handmade pasta, superb and very helpful service from a very friendly afro girl who speaks very good English. Prices are very reasonable. Booking is required as it is 6km from the centre and the access is not easy.

It's a crazy place, well off the beaten path in the quadraro area of Rome. My girlfriend and I moved into the area and were suggested this place by our landlady, Maria. The food is great, the atmosphere is as Italian as you would like, and very reasonable. Highly recommended ID you're in Rome and have a desire to get... More
