I live in Rome and have dined at L'insalata Ricca at other locations in Rome but today I was disappointed with my lunch experience. This location is frequented by many tourists and perhaps because of this, prices are inflated. Cover per person is 1.50. In...addition, water is not bottled but filtered...whatever that means, and costs 3.00. The most outrageous part of my experience was that the focaccia was delivered to the table already cut and had been ...reheated.... Yes, recycled!!! at a cost of 4.50. This is totally unacceptable. I would recommend asking for the focaccia to be brought to the table as an entire pizza...uncut. Shame on L'insalata Ricca!!!!More

We were seated indoors. We were in a large group of 50 people. Most of our group was outdoors. The waiters were top notch and we got very quick and efficient service. There was not much room to get around. The wine was amazing and...it paired well with our pasta. The dessert was basic.More

Actually not a bad place to grab dinner in a very popular location, very close to the Piazza Navona. They offer a 15 euro special of bruscetta, your choice of pasta plate or pizza with a soft drink. We ordered an additional pizza as we...had the pasta plate along with extra soft drinks. Very pleasant seating outside to people watch and we were very fortunate that no one lit up a cigarette so the meal was very enjoyable. The menu, by the way, is very diverse with lots of choices.More

We ordered 3 pizzas and one portion of pasta. We waited 1 h and a half for our order only to be told that they had a computer problem and our command didn’t pass. When the food came it was barely warm, not hot and...freshly taken out of the oven. They brought parmiggiano for the pasta when the food was almost finished. We ordered 2 beers, they took forever to arrive. Terrible experience, bad communication with the staff (there was rarely someone checking on us) and overall disastrous experience. Too bad of the location. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻More

The restaurant is right in the center, but conveniently placed in a side piazza so that the crowds passing by are not too large and there are not many cars. Food is genuine and delicious, with true flavors from Italy, and from Rome in particular....We loved this place so much we returned a second time! Overall, we tried crostini, pizzas, antipasti, pasta and salads and each of us loved it. Portions are very good in size, not too small, not too large, leaving space for the excellnt desserts: The tiramisu and crema al mascarpone of the manager were truly amazing. The frascati wine accompanied the food very well and was refreshing. The whole family is so welcoming and kind. A special mention and special thanks to Martina, the daughter, who is very professional, kind and helpful and really brigs light to the whole atmospehere!More

Insanely good food. Pasta and pizza to die for. Carbonara - best I have ever eaten. Have the salad in a focaccia crab, lobster & shrimp. ALL SO FRESH. Wine list - out of this world.

We went to this restaurant on a whim. Judt walked by and saw they did a lunch menu for 14 euro for bruschetta, pasta/pizza and a drink. The food was very nice and the waitress explain in English to us how the lunch menu works....There was a lot of Italians in this restaurant and although I got pasta which was beautiful the salads looked amazing. Husband got pizza which he said was really good. Thank you.More

Near San Andrea, on Piazza Pasquino, we find a little but excellent restaurant with an outdoor terrace, in centro storico of Rome; students, locals, and tourists are the guests, to eat a wonderful spaghetti alle vongole, or a lot of excellent salads; and much more,...friendly service, a great place for an roman lunch in the sunshine.More

After being told that the food was all “fresh and hand made” our mozzarella balls came out frozen. The bread was not fresh. The ragú sauce did not taste very good and the water bottle had been opened previously. The place next door have people...waiting but this place o my has 2 tables with people sitting. Would not recommend.More
