A huge hit with the locals and we were lucky enough to get a table for a quick drink. People were queuing & gather to get a table at this spot. I guess this is where all the locals go after work for a drink....Prices are sooo good with it costing us €8 for 2 Aperol Spritz & a Larger.More

It may not be glamorous but it is the best Hit Chicolaate in Town especially for their Whipped Cream that is done by hand and not with the machine that puts gas in the cream. Notable also the Granita di Caffè con Panna. Remember not...to go after 8 pm it is. A place where students and young people go and there is no social distancing or mSk wearing at all. The rest of the day is really good.More

This is a great bar, good prices, great vibe and right in the centre of Trastevere. Will definitely come back!

We were around the area and decided to stop by just for some drinks. This place has been and is very polular among locals and tourists on a budget. The cappuccino was inexpensive, but pretty mediocre. The great thing about Bar San Calisto is the...location in Trestevere and the overly relaxed atmosphere. There is a large seating area inside, where locals drink and play cards. It is very noisy. And there are many tables and chairs outside as well. We didn’t even try to look for a seat, because we were not crazy about the place and we do not think that we will go back.More

This bar offers very cheap but pretty nice choices, such as peroni beer or spritz! The thing I didn't like was that there was not any kind of heat, since the bar has only tables outside.

This small bar in Piazza di San Calisto is always jam packed with locals. Great place for a local and authentic experience.

Cheap drinks! Peroni 660ml €2.50 as stated in other reviews. So cheap, great vibes and lots of locals. If you want some where to get a true local vibe go here

Gem - great vibe. Simple, extremely cheap and a generous staff. Can’t fault this place. Knows what it is and excels at it.

Found this bar on Trip Advisor. Nothing fancy, but a great atmosphere and a 66cl bottle of Peroni costs €2.5! Absolutely brilliant.

We started our vacation here May 2017. I had the best time with the host. He set the mood for the rest of the vacation. He was the 1st member of F.O.K. Friends of Kirk. He was the 1st of many to be FOKKED on...this vacation.😁We stopped in for dessert and a few cocktails. The host and me had an audience. We bantered back and forth on what we wanted to drink and what dessert to order. We laughed and laughed.I finally agreed to his suggestion and was heavenly delighted. We laughed so much that my sister and brother in law could here us down the block from the hotel Residenza San Calisto. They chose to come out of the hotel to watch and take part of the party.More

Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded
postcard, a little worn around the edges but still
charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering
streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and
overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible
mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of
entertainment - a rotating set of street performers
entertains almost every night, and unforgettable
