It can be hard to find a truly good restaurant in Trastevere, but you can eat very well at impicetta. It's hidden off the beaten path, tucked away in some smaller streets. You'd also better make a reservation. The portions are HUGE, so be sure...More

Impicetta & Gigi are simply the best! The ambience is beautiful. Amazing service, high quality food, large portion, friendly and family vibe. Gigi took the utmost care with us and shared an oak aged shot of grappa with us! Carbonara is the best. The antipasti...More

A quick one: Impiccetta was the only place we visited twice during our Roman holidays. The food is just very-very tasty. For main course, my wife had fish one time and eggplants with cheese the other, whereas I had pasta with mussels both times -...More

As many of the reviews state, the portions here are larger than normal. We had the cacio e pepe and the linguine with mussells. Both great. Great service - they are very kind. Ended with limoncellos that definitely helped after so much food!

Great staff and atmosphere with tasty food!👍 You need to share portions if you intend to eat more than one dish, they are BIG, even the small one is huge. Recommended for sure!

Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded
postcard, a little worn around the edges but still
charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering
streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and
overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible
mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of
entertainment - a rotating set of street performers
entertains almost every night, and unforgettable

I'm not sure you'll get an answer from the restaurant here. They do have a website (I'd share the link but TripAdvisor doesn't allow that). Just Google them and a link to the restaurant's website will be in the Google... More

Yep for sure. My partner wore denim knee length shorts and a button up. There was also others in the restaurant in normal t-shirts. I'd say casual/smart casual is appropriate
