Great place to have a rest and to get some Italian food. Pizza and Pasta are cheaper than many other cafes in the city centre and have a great atmosphere...

We stayed in Rome for 3nights and found this cafe on our first day. We both had a pizza each and thoroughly enjoyed them. We heard the waitress telling a customer that their lasagne was very good. So we went back the next night and asked the waiter if he thought the lasagne was as good as we had heard... More

Suggestum is a small restaurant that was just a short distance from our hotel on the Via Veneto. On arrival in Rome we stopped here for lunch which was reasonable and service prompt. We called in for a drink once or twice as well. On our last day following a full day of visits we decided to have our dinner... More

We ate at this place on our first night in Rome. We were exhausted from the flight, and this place was a great choice. We sat outside and soaked in the Roman ambience, while snacking on a variety of bruschetta (some more like pizza in that it had cheese and mushrooms), proscuitto and melon, and wine. It may not have... More

Delicious food, reasonably priced, accommodated our family of 5 while it was busy outside. Free cake for the little ones and waiter joked around with the children and let them sit on his bike after as they took an interest in it. Chianti lovely, bruschetta lovely and main lovely

Not the best foodie experience, specially being in Rome, where you can eat wonderfully almost at any place. We went out of the Caputxins museum quite late, so we wanted to quickly find somewhere to eat as we were really hungry and we risked of finding kitchens closed because of the time it was. This place is just located in... More

Sat outside the restaurant, was a friendly staff team who greeted us in, the food was lovely, and the price wasn't too expensive

Walked by a number of restaurants and decided on here! Was busy, friendly staff and was sat outside. Excellent antipasto to start, I had ravioli and my friend has carbonara! A lovely bottle of wine, all at excellent value!!

On our way back to the hotel, we stopped here for a quick lunch. We chose to sit outside although there is also indoor seating. The place looked clean enough and we served quickly. We had the salami pizza, wine and water. The pizza was good enough and tasty. It is not a fine dining restaurant despite the location.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
