Good prices, friendly atmosphere, excellent Italian food. Not too many tourists, this place is more popular for local people. You will love this place.

We went there several times during our stay. A familiar place, very good food, as fatto per la nonna. Follow waiter's recommendations. You will enjoy great food and pay very reasonable prices. A perfect roman corner.

We stopped for dinner on our walk back from the Trevi Fountain chosen because we appreciated it's quiet side street location (lined with parked scooters). The guests around us appeared to be local. Highlights: nice wine list, serve yourself antipasti, tender veal steak and velvety penne salmone. Would recommend to visitors seeking an authentic dining experience. A duet composed of... More

We came across this gem which was just around the corner from where we were staying. Lovely food, big portions and lovely people. We actually went there two nights running, once for pasta, once for pizza. Both times we sat outside on the quiet street and watched the world go buy. Very good value for money and great food.

We stayed in Rome for a couple of days and had lunch or dinner several times here as it was really close to the main city attractions and our hotel. The food was delicious and wine was really good, though the whole ambient is pretty old school. The service was OK.

My husband and I stopped in here for lunch and to rest our feet after walking around Rome. There was an antipasto buffet that looked amazing, but I didn't try it and my husband was mad that I didn't tell him it was an option (my Italian is much better than his). We instead had a charcuterie and cheese appetizer... More

I was walking around one afternoon and decided to stop by to have a nice pasta dish and a glass or two of wine, in which I was not disappointed. Since it was close to the hotel and they also recommended I gave it a try . Needless to say I have been back a few times.

Third time in 15 years and each time was excellent. Traditional Family restaurant with great food, service and value. Hope to return again.

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
