It was easy to make a reservation with short notice (although the restaurant became fairly crowded after our early arrival). We particularly enjoyed our Primi Piatti: I was delighted by my Penne (?) alla Gricia, and others in our group lauded their Penne All' Arrabiata, the Tonarelli Cacio e Pepe and their Carbonara. The Secondi (both Di Carni and Di... More

Having just landed in Rome with no time to make a reservation, this wonderful restaurant kindly fit us in for the New Year. We received a free glass of prosecco on ordering and another one again at the stroke of midnight. The food was very well priced for Rome and was very filling; the tiramisu was to die for. Staff... Loved this place! Waiter was lovely and the food was amazing. We ordered the spinach ricotta ravioli and grilled sea bass and also included antipasti buffet of grilled aubergine, zucchini and other veg along with a selection of olives and salad. Great atmosphere too!

After a lovely concert at the Chiesa Valdesse we went to this restaurant for supper. We all ordered different dishes and found them to be very good at reasonable prices.

Just dropped in late for a meal. Waiter was attentive and friendly, spoke excellent English. Bread and drinks at table super fast. Meal was excellent and really high quality. A real gem of a place. Only minus, we were too late for choice of deserts but that was our fault. Reasonable prices, great service and well placed.

Only just arrived in Rome and found this little gem. Staff were extremely helpful and the food was great, had the special of the day which was prawn and courgette tagliatelle, delish. Good value for money as a jug of wine only 4 euros and I couldn't finish it.

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
