We popped in here yesterday whilst passing, so glad we did. We opted for 12euros menu. I got spaghetti carbonara and my husband got spaghetti with garlic and chilli for first course. Both gorgeous meals. Main course I got chicken which was lovely but so envious of my husbands main course he got suckling pig, don't let the name out... More

We stopped here for a quick meal and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The wine was tasty and cheap and the food was very good. Pasta cacao e pepe was delicious as was the pizza. Only strange thing I found that was also noted on another review on this restaurant was that I asked for Tiramisu and they... More

When we came here in August for dinner it was clear that this place caters to tourists (at least during tourist season) but in a good way: they offer fast and friendly service, waiters who speak multiple languages, and a really pleasant environment, without sacrificing anything else (food, price). The food is fantastic and at a very reasonable price point.... More

We stumbled across this gem whilst we were looking for an ATM. They have a few set menus on offer too that are great value. The food was delicious and my husband thinks their tomatoes are the best he's ever eaten!

My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant because of the great value (12€) 3 course meal!! We also had a bottle of posseco for 16€ which was very good value for the quality! The pasta was a no frills simple Roman favourite, it tasted excellent. The second course of suckling pig was fairly standard, nothing to write home about, but... More

Good food for reasonable prices. The stars here are the staff members - helpful and kind, they also speak English. Very good beer selection.

The service started of OK, but during our meal I was not impressed. My plate was removed while my girlfriend was still eating, and when she did finish, they never took her plate. I think we sat there for 20 minutes waiting to order desserts. Would NOT go back.

Staying in Trastevere

Neighborhood Profile
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
