We stumbled across this gem whilst we were looking for an ATM. They have a few set menus on offer too that are great value. The food was delicious and my husband thinks their tomatoes are the best he's ever eaten!

My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant because of the great value (12€) 3 course meal!! We also had a bottle of posseco for 16€ which was very good value for the quality! The pasta was a no frills simple Roman favourite, it tasted excellent. The second course of suckling pig was fairly standard, nothing to write home about, but... More

Good food for reasonable prices. The stars here are the staff members - helpful and kind, they also speak English. Very good beer selection.

They are making excellent pizzas in the traditional way ! One of the best I have ever had ! I was with my cousin, we were not very hungry so we said we would share one pizza but we ended up ordering an other one ! We had pana cotta for the dessert, it was very good too ! Excellent... More

The service started of OK, but during our meal I was not impressed. My plate was removed while my girlfriend was still eating, and when she did finish, they never took her plate. I think we sat there for 20 minutes waiting to order desserts. Would NOT go back.

We ate a delicious 4 course menu for 12€. Our lunch menu included prosciutto and melon, lasagne, chicken and a fruit salad. The food was tasty and service was excellent!

The only thing good about this, is that its cheap. I didn't enjoy the food as it was poor quality and the service was pretty horrendous. Our waiter openly rolled his eyes at us every time we asked for something, it was that bad. I think it wouldn't have been that bad if he wasn't there, as we also had... More

The manager of our hotel told us to go to Trastevere because there are better restaurants there. Well this one isn't. The service was slow and unfriendly with everyone who didn't speak italian. To order our food we already had to wait way too long. It is true that it's not expensive, but the food portions are very small. I... More

Staying in Trastevere

Neighborhood Profile
Trastevere
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
