Nothing to complain about the quality of Chinese and sushi... But it took us over 2 hours, and many reminders and long waits to get our plates served..

My wife and I live in Hong Kong so we have been accustomed to very good authentic Cantonese food. Also, we have lived in the States so we know how Chinese American food(think Panda Express, PF Chang) tastes like. This place was nothing close to the sweet, starch, salty food we expected like we came across in Paris. The food... More

We git so busy exploring Rome that by the time we realized how hungry and tired we were we were willing to hit the first place we found. We mapped to the nearest pizzeria (next door) that looked terrible and stumbled upon this amazing place. We could not have done better if we researched and planned this dinner months in... More

We found this restaurant by chance, just because we spotted it during a walk in Rome. We really appreciated the good quality and variety of the food (it is possible to taste typical dishes), the kindness of the staff, the good prices in a quiet and clean location. We would definitely recommend!

Ok, you think, Chinese food in Rome? By this time on our trip, we were craving some other kind of foods instead of Italian. No offense, we had great Italian food. On one of our walks, we saw this Chinese restaurant. We both agreed and headed towards it. It wasn't very busy and the decor was nice. We ordered our... More

Being Chinese, I was craving an authentic home cooked Chinese meal after being away from home for so long and it definitely met my standards! Dishes are a bit small and simple but nonetheless was delicious and nicely flavoured (not too salty)! Service was ok. Hit the spot for me and my folks! Will come back again.

Here we are in the heart of Rome, promising ourselves adventurous eating, with fabulous Italian food all around, so what should we have? Well, in this case, Chinese food! It sounded good and this place was mere steps from our hotel on Largo Argentina, and it was late. It was pretty inexpensive, too, compared to other places around (€20 for... More

On the firt visit, we were attracted by the eur 9,90 menu for a 3 course dish. But when inside we were told, it is only for lunch. We should have got the message. Second day we were attracted by the all you can eat menu for eur 12 which is valid for dinner, but we should have remembered better.... More

I'm sorry if our menu has caused confusion for you, we hope to be more clear in the future. It is true that our 9.90 euro menu is only for lunch as our menu states underneath the the price. For our 12 Eur menu, you are able to purchase any starters pasta and rice that you would like. However, as... More

Stopped in on a rainy day. Had the 3-course selection for €10. The fried sea weed as a starter was excellent, followed by 'good' hot & sour soup, then orange chicken. The interior of the restaurant is striking. All in all very pleased with the experience.

Staying in Ghetto

Neighborhood Profile
Ghetto
The mini-neigborhood Ghetto holds tight to its reputation as a stand-alone area thanks to its nearly 300-year history as the home to Rome’s Jewish community. Times changed in the 20th century, but the tiny area still retains its mix of tradition, community, and history. Ancient and medieval architectural design frames apartments, bakeries, shops, and restaurants. Friends and families are the pulse of the neighborhood, keeping company on the Via del Portico d’Ottavia. The Ghetto observes the traditional Jewish Shabbat: businesses close from Friday sundown to Saturday sundown.
