A very local casual joint in the heart of San Lorenzo. Possibly the best pizza I have had in my life, I'm not kidding! Even the wine was delicious. My sister and I shared the onion pizza and the mushroom, we were drooling! Can't wait...to visit next year. Our meal was under 30 euros with wine and water, amazing!More
my husband and I were so in love with the carbonara <3 - be prepared to wait a different amount of time for your food. the first time, my husband had a pizza, since the carbonara takes a little longer, I told him to dig...into his food. the second time we went there, we both had (you won't guess, so I tell you) the carbonara. a very neat and authentic little restaurant with some of the own managers history on the walls.More
Great restaurant serving traditional Roman pizza,
It’s a busy bustling place, that makes you feel like you’re truly in “Roman” Rome and not a tourist trap
The pizza is as good as you’ll find at a very reasonable price
The suppli was fresh and top...qualityMore
I still think about the carbonara and salivate, it was amazing! The pizza was also good, but maybe not the best pizza place in Rome.
The prices are very cheap and the service is quick, but it also felt like they want you to leave...right after you finish eating. They grab the plates and that's that.
All in all, worth visiting, especially if you're staying in San Lorenzo.More
This restaurant is worth visiting if any of your party are runners - we were in Rome as my two sons were running the Rome marathon - and one had seem Mimo (the owner of this place) in a programme about this race. The pizzas...are also excellent - but that was a bit beside the point for our visitMore
My boyfriend and I went there on a recent trip to Rome, as our host called it 'the best pizzeria in Rome' and it certainly didn't disappoint! It is not a very touristy area, although the waiter spoke excellent English and there were some English...translations on the menu, it was full of locals (from about 9pm) and it was clearly a place where Italians go to eat Italian!
The food was delicious and came promptly, and was very reasonably priced - we had potato croquettes and vegetarian antipasti for starters, which were both amazing, followed by a couple of delicious pizzas. We can't recommend this place highly enough, if you're in the area, it's well worth a visit.More
