The food was spectacular! I had the pork hock and it ws cooked to perfection. The service for our group of four was a little slow and disjointed as we weren't all served at the same time, but it was worth it.

We have taken 2 times a dinner in this restaurant and we enjoyed it twice. Excellent flavoured dishes at correct prices. Sauteed liver and duck pasta were our favourites.

Last night in Italy and we were tired of the standard Pizza Pasta Fish Places. Weeknight and we still needed a Reservation, and were inside. Chefs welcome sample was okay.. a aspic style green item(?) and a "bruschetta" style taste. Pasta plate with fig sauce was mild but different. Cold Veggie soup (think Gazpacho) topped with 2 large ricotta style... More

Our first dinner in Italy might still be our favorite! We snagged a seat indoors at L'asino d'Oro around 8pm before more people starting coming in closer to 9pm, filling this smaller place up quickly. They offered us a small soup sampling before our actual meal (we split gnocchi and lamb meatballs, which they actually split into separate plates for... More

After I saw this restaurant in several travel guides I decided we must try it. And the authors were right! This is fantastic restaurant. The service is exceptional and the dishes were not just tasty but interesting. The property itself is not cozy more like functional. Book a table if you want to have a dinner here! They seem quite... Walked-in on a friend's recommendation, turns out he was right! I recommend making a reservation though, we were lucky to get a table without one. We were lucky enough to have a spot on the terrace. I had the gnocchis bolognese first, then we had the polpettes. Mine were a bit overcooked, but my partners' were perfect so we split... More

The food here was amazing! This was he best place we ate in all of Rome! We had a cheese platter, beef stew and pork roulade, all were absolutely amazingly! The ambience was lovely and romantic! We strongly recommend this restaurant!

Excellent food, original concepts and creative meals. Fine wine list offering a selection that works really well with the menu options. Wait staff very efficient and knowledgeable of the menu items as well as the wine list. What you would expect at a high end restaurant. Not inexpensive but quality does come at a price. The tables on the street... More

Would never have ordered cream of broccoli, lasagna, and pork? But it was clearly amazing ingredients and well executed.
