Party of two had dinner here before a concert last week. Were seated right away and place was fairly busy. Wine list has good offerings and reasonably priced, but noticed the drink list is quite expensive. Enjoyed a nice bottle of wine. Ordered pizza and carbonara. Pizza was pretty typical and carbonara rigatoni was only okay. Pasta was cooked perfectly... More

I visited this cafe last night with my partner.  It was about 10:30pm and only 4 tables (including ourselves). The other 3 tables were either already eating or just finished. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and my partner ordered a classic burger. We waited around 45 minutes for our food to come out. My partners burger was good but the... More

We ate here twice. Its a very casual restaurant and was very busy during our stay. Food was decent and tasty with average average prices. We did eat better elsewhere at same cost. Beer was expensive. 6 Euro for a glass of lager! We had the same waiter on both visits and he was very friendly and efficient even though... More

Stopped off for an evening meal here after watching Wales in the Six Nations. Very welcoming staff and cattered for our 14 month old son. Food was served quickly and was delicious. Only criticism is that drinks are on the expensive side. Other than that, lovely atmosphere coupled with tasty food - will be back!

Went with a group of friends, some of their food was okay, but my pasta was so under cooked that it was barely edible. The soup was also overpriced for being mostly broth.

I'd totally recommend this restaurant! It's across our hotel so the location is very convenient. Menu is available in many different languages which is nice. Servers are very polite and hospitable, so definitely a solid 5 for that. It takes around 20 minutes for the food to be prepared. The food is tasty and it's offered at an economical price.

Actually ended up coming here twice once for dinner and once for lunch. The food is very good, reasonable prices and the service was good too. No complaints, it's a place to grab a good meal at a good price.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
