This is the kind of place you want to love - “authentic” as the tourists love to say - but really dreadful food. When you live in Italy, you learn that Grandma’s cooking ain’t always that good. We ordered about 5 dishes, one worse than...More
This is a charming neighborhood restaurant that has been around since the 30s and is much beloved by regulars. It isn't a tourist restaurant, so if you are expecting a gorgeous 5-star ambiance or a food forward experience, this ain't it.
This is a small...More
We went with a local friend. You have to ring a bell to get in. They kindly opened the door - and looked at us ... we mentioned our friend's name and were welcomed with a huge smile. It is a very old school place....More
This little hidden restaurant is a place that locals and people in the know visit often (it is on via del Pellegrino). It is a homely place where you eat food that is as close to homemade as possible, there are no frills, the menu...More

The quality of the food is ok, but the prices are certainly overblown.
It doesn’t help when the waiters bring you a more expensive wine than what you ordered and try to make you pay for it.
No english spoken here, so caution is advised!
