After 10 minutes of waiting we were able to make an order - there were no deserts in menu, so we were promised to bring another page of menu with list of deserts. After another 20 minutes they brought our coffee. Without deserts and without that menu page... We ordered still water for a baby, they brought us cold water... More

This restaurant is the best one we ate at in our 5 days in Rome. The proprietor works the front of the house and his wife works the kitchen. The food is locally sourced and wonderfully prepared. We had a local Roman delicacy, puntarella, which is a must if you're in Rome during its season (winter). I had pasta Gricia... More

The interior of the restaurant is fab, staff were friendly and polite, but not over helpful when they knew I didn't speak Italian and didn't offer to explain the wine/beer menu which were in Italian. Fast service, but I felt food was only mediocre which was disappointing as I had come here based on other reviews on TripAdvisor and it... More

Enjoyed this local restaurant very much. Food and service were very nice. My husband and I were there alone but we saw a family there also enjoying their food. Servers spoke several languages. Price was very reasonable.

Try the veal cheeks braised in red wine and traditional rice ball starters! You won't regret coming here after a day spent at the Vatican.

We had two courses. The appetizers were great. We had four different servings. The main courses were a bit disappointing. The beef steak was actually not a steak but beef cut into small pieces. Perhaps this is "Roman style" - but then again: I was asked how I preferred my steak - and the medium red I asked for, wasn't... More

Very nice restaurant with a large selection of wines for very reasonable prices. We shared a carpaccio which was simple but fresh. Then we had pasta carbonara which was delicious and the ravioli which was also very good but the portion was a bit small compared to the carbonara. As dessert we had tiramisu and panna cotta. Simple but tasty.... More

This place was recommended by our amazing hostess. The wine was exceptional, best I've had in Italy so far. We finally got to try the suppli (fried rice balls) that we've seen all over this area. Not too bad, literally just balls of rice with batter. The saltimbocca was ok...and that's it. Serving size was not your typical Italian serving.... More
