Came for a dinner with friends.. Ordered tuna fish.. However, only last two portions of tuna fish left (to highlight, we came at half past seven, i.e. the beginning of the shift). So, two of my frineds had seabass, my friend and myself tuna fish - medium. What we received overcame the worst immaginations. Two seabasses in tons of terribly... More

We've been to Rome twice, and this is probably the best meal we've had. We stopped here for lunch after visiting the Vatican Museum. The place is filled with locals, but we were greeted warmly. The fried appetizers ('suppli' and vegetables) were delicious, and light despite being fried. The saltimbucca and pasta were wonderful. Our friends had the meatballs, and... More

Two amazing appetizers that are not on menu: "Fiore de zucca and Bacala". Went there with my family and no reservations, luckily they were able to get us in and service was spot on as well as food. Took a bit of a long time to get our main courses but well worth the wait.

We have beento this restaurant twice in the week we spend in Rome, as my parents in law liked it that much. The restaurant has a modern feel with rustic tables and a menu which offers a nice mix of roman cuisine but also dishes for people who like comfort food. The food is good (saltimbocca & veal cheeks are... More

Amazing food, delicious pasta, friendly staff, superb service - this is definitely the place to eat after a long visit to the Vatican. We ate between lunch and dinner so it was really quiet - we had the place to ourselves. Very knowledgeable manager who picked out a lovely wine for us whilst proudly telling us everything was regional produce.... More

What an experience! Everything was fantastic. Firstly the decor and ambiance is comfortable but screams classy. The owner greeted us and came out to serve us and explained that everything was sourced locally, helped explain some off the more complicated dishes, and pointed to some of the favourites. Service was Top Drawer. Food exquisite. I asked for recommendations on the... More

The pasta is just amazing, I am Italian and carbonara is my favourite pasta, so I was a little bit unsure of trying it in a restaurant as it's always disappointing (I only like my mum's one) ;) This one was just exceptional. My boyfriend who had the amatriciana wanted to order a second portion. The only one thing that... More

Menu was incredibly unclear, and as such my dish came out with food I can't eat. I sent it back and the second dish was good, however when the bill arrived they had charged us for the meal we returned. The staff then refused to take it off, stating that "that's how it is in Rome". Very rude and argumentative,... More

They actually got a good selection in both beer and food. I tried a local beer called BAI and had some pasta - they both impressed me. If you're in the area and don't want to hit the nearest tourist trap head over to Osteria Della Commari right away!

Our family ate there one evening, based on prior reviews. Our first waitress abandoned our table, after barely taking our order. She did serve us long enough to pour our first glass of wine, spilled it on the table, and just left it there. I cleaned it up myself. We ended up with another waitress. Our daughter ordered fettucine that... More
